It had been a whole month since ellie found out the news about Jungwon and ever since then she hasn't been able to sleep properly. She is constantly feeling on edge and can't help but wonder why, and how he died.
She gloomily sat opposite Seollee, her posture slouched whilst having paler skin compared to her regular shade and having much heavier under eye bags. "How have you been?" Seollee wondered, looking at the young girl with concern lingering in her eyes.
"Fine." Ellie dryly answered and twiddled with her thumbs, not in the mood to talk or socialise with anybody with her current state.
"You look tireder than usual, are you sleeping okay?" She wondered and ellie just simply shook her head - her eyes glued to her lap. "What about your new friend? I thought he was helping you will all of this, the one you love." Her therapist mentioned making ellie pick her gaze up from her lap and look into the older women's eyes.
And just like that. Ellie lost complete control over her whole body. Every wall she put up, every fake smile she wore, every lie of 'I'm fine' she told, all came crashing down those words. All meaning to life had been lost in her eyes. Tears abruptly streamed down from her eyes, rolling off her cheek and gliding down her neck as she whimpered and heaved with emotional pain.
She had never cried during a therapy session - she swore off it. In fact the only person she had ever cried in front of was Jungwon, and yet here she is breaking her own rules to cry for him.
Her lips quivered as she brought her hand up to cover her mouth, hoping to silence her cries. Her chest heaved and her breathing tubes felt as though they were being squeezed. "I'm s-sorry." She gasped and continued to cry.
Seollee struggled to hold back tears of her own. It hurt to watch the girl collapse with emotion like this, especially after knowing how she feels about crying in front of people. "It's okay, just let it out, you're allowed to feel upset and cry."
And she did. She let it all out. Just for him.

Ellie walked into school with a black baggy jacket over her regular school uniform - the hood of her jacket pulled over her head to cover her deep and heavy eye bags. She didn't want to be seen, and she didn't want to be spoken to.
"Ellie!" Sunoo called out from behind her, making her stop walking and turn around to face the boy - a less cheery expression plastered over his face. "Can we speak?"
After Ellie agreed, the two walked off to sit on the bleachers, an awkward tension in the air. "How have you been?" Sunoo asked, breaking the silence as he awkwardly fidgeted with his fingers.
