I blink as if my eyes are lying to me. "Tristan Dugray?"

"Hello. Let's get you out of here."

"Yeah. Right. Okay." I look over at Logan. He's groggy but semi-aware. Tristan supports my weight on one side as I limp to my fiance. He has a scrape from his forehead to his eye on the side of his face. My heart sinks. "Logan."

"Rory. Are you okay? And the baby?"

"Rory. Wait, Rory Gilmore?"

"Hey! There it is!" I can't help but smile. "I'm okay. Are you alright?" He steps out, takes my other side, and wraps that arm around his neck. "Logan, we gotta get our baby checked out. I can't feel her." As though I wished it, the sirens become clear. I sigh in relief.

As the paramedic prepares the gurney, Logan and Tristan do their best to help me calm down. I look towards the man in front of me. "I can't feel my baby moving. Please hurry."

I breathe a relieved exhale when I hear the pattered thumping over the monitor. There's no sweeter sound. Logan takes my hand and I look at him. His voice comes as the room falls silent. "What do you know about our baby?"

"There's a strong heartbeat. She's beginning to kick right now. Your baby is healthy."
