Alex grumbled to himself as he and his friends were sent off to get the ingredients, Mammon needed them to summon his brother Lucifer. He pulled out the sheet of paper that gave them the ingredients. The parchment paper felt old and dating back to the ancient times. It wasn't like the leather book they had the day they summoned Mammon. Of course, most of the ingredients they needed made it impossible to find.
"Where the hell are we going to find Tears of Misery?" Alex asked.
"Shouldn't we get it from someone who is miserable?" Jennifer questioned.
"Or we could go to a Wiccan shop and get the tears," Adam suggested.
"But what if it's not legit?" Alex questioned. "I mean, there's got to be a better way to get it,"
"Oh, trust me, I know someone who could help us out," Adam smirked.
Not taking a chance to argue with his friend, Alex looked at the sheet of parchment again and saw the next item on the list.
Grace of an Angel
"Okay, this is ridiculous!" Alex exclaimed. "Now he wants the Grace of an angel?!"
Jennifer groaned. She was getting kind of tired of his complaints. Sometimes Alex wondered if she would be able to shut him up. Ever since Abigail jumped on them and demanded to know what the bitch said. Alex hadn't been the same since.
He pretty much couldn't think about the ingredients or summoning Lucifer. It still bugged him about what Abigail said. What if Abigail was right? Could what he was doing be the wrong choice? Alex snapped out of his thoughts when Adam and Jennifer stood in place.
"What?" Alex asked.
"Did you seriously just ask about an Angel's Grace?" Adam questioned.
Alex opened his mouth but closed it. Adam and Jennifer shook their heads.
"We know of one angel that we can get that from," Jennifer stated.
They left Alex alone.

Ezra and Emily had been in the same room for the last few hours. Ezra didn't know what he would do about telling his charge and her friend. Ezra rubbed his forehead mostly due to the amount of pain he'd been experiencing. Emily wouldn't let it go, now here he was feeling more human than when he was experiencing before. Ezra stood from his chair and walked over to the window.
"Ezra," Emily started. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Her chestnut hair fell in her face she moved her hair out of the way and sighed. Seeing her brother's suffering really hurt her. She walked over to him and placed her hand on his shoulder.
"Ezra, when did you start feeling this way?" she asked.
"Recently before you came," Ezra responded. "It's been happening to me left and right, Emily,"
"Have you told the girl's yet? Or even Peter?" Emily asked.
Ezra simply shook his head. No sense in worrying anyone, right now they had a demon to stop. How could he defend his sister and his charge if they were already struggling? He ran his hand through his dirty blonde hair and shifted his weight.
"Ezra, you have to tell them," Emily urged. "You can't just let this keep going,"
"What do you want me to say Em?" Ezra exclaimed. "I don't want to stress them out!"
Emily shook her head. Ezra stayed silent.
"I'd recommend at least talking to them," Emily suggested. "Now come on, let's go and leave this room,"
Knowing that his sister wouldn't stop, Ezra and Emily left the room.

Abigail and Althea spent most of their time in Peter's room. They'd been going at it for a while trying to learn the ins and outs about communicating with their spirit animals. But while Abigail wasn't having trouble, Althea struggled. She'd tried repeatedly to talk to the owl, however, from the looks of it, Althea was ready to give up. Althea's hair was in a disheveled mess, and she couldn't keep up. All Peter told them had been that they had to be one with the animal, if not then it wouldn't work.
"Ugh!" Althea groaned. "This is impossible!"
"It may be impossible right now," Peter said. "But trust me, once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to communicate with the owl," he continued. "Now, concentrate,"
Abigail paused and turned over to see the white wolf staring at her. She sensed the wolf was a spirit animal but worried that it wouldn't work.
"Hello," the wolf said sweetly.
Abigail blinked.
"Say that again?" Abigail asked. "I mean I knew I could speak to animals but not to spirit animals like you,"
"You spoke to the barred owl," the white wolf said. "How is this so different?"
*~*~*~*
Althea already struggled to communicate with the owl but at least she was slowly getting the hang of it. Of course, she wished that things would have been easier. Althea sighed. Ready to give up. She glanced at Abigail who was making things seem so easy as she had begun communicating with the wolf. Abigail locked eyes with her and nodded. Getting up from the floor, Abigail locked eyes with her and nodded getting up from the floor, she left Peter and Althea alone.
"It's too hard!" Althea exclaimed. "I can't do it!"
"Althea," Peter said. He kneeled in front of her. They were so close that it almost looked like they were going to kiss. Althea began to feel hot and didn't know what she would do. "You can do this," Peter encouraged.
Althea nodded and closed her eyes. Through her third eye, she saw two lines that weren't connecting, one was from the owl and the other, her. Peter had told her that she needed to connect the two lines together. Pushing forward, she urged the lines to connect. They moved around sporadically as the lines began to join forming an unbreakable bond. Thinking she had done it; Althea sent the barred owl a message.
"Can you hear me?" Althea asked.
"Depends," the owl said. "Can you hear me?"
Althea's eyes shot open. She looked at the owl who was still perched on the back of the chair. It was hard to believe but she had done it.
"I did it!" She exclaimed.
Althea stood. Peter laughed.
"See? I knew you could do it!"
Peter pulled Althea into a hug as they two pulled away, they looked into each other's eyes and started leaning in. Their lips were so close together when suddenly the bedroom door swung open.
"What is going on?!"
Althea and Peter pulled apart to see Ezra and Emilystanding at the door.
