Emily arrived in heaven where she began to notice the chaos unfolding. Surprised, she ran to the main gate. Worried about what was going on in her home. The large golden gate stood shining in the light, it was also opened. The angels of all shapes and sizes, even ages were ranting about many different things that she wished she could listen to. From the looks of it. The angels were worried. Panicking about what was happening on earth. She found her older brother Michael talking to the other angels. Running over she got there, to hear the last part of the conversation.
"Michael, Lucifer has been released!" One angel complained. Her golden locks at the length of her back. "We must do something,"
"Anahera," Michael said, adjusting his sheath. "I understand we need to do something but we don't know who Lucifer has possessed. We cannot just go to earth and stop him," Michael continued. "Our father's people are down there so we need to strategize,"
"But how long are we supposed to do that?" Anahera questioned. Her voice shook from fear.
Emily had never heard of Angels being afraid so this was a first for her.
"Until father says we can attack," Michael responded. "Like I said. We do not know where his return took place,"
"I do," Emily announced.
The entire room stopped, they all stared at her with surprise. The large chandelier stood just above the center of the room. It was so quiet that you could hear a sword drop and it would scare you. A few of her siblings remained quiet, Michael approached her his shoes hitting the ground, echoing into the entire room.
"Em?" Michael said. "What are you talking about?"
Emily looked around the room, her throat suddenly tight and her unable to say much of anything. Not with all the eyes staring at her. She looked between the room of angels and her brother. As if registering what she'd been trying to say. He turned toward the room.
"Everyone clear out!" He ordered. His voice booming over the whole crowd. "I must speak with our sister alone!"
The angels bowed and left the room leaving her alone with Michael. Now that they were alone, Michael and Emily walked through the halls of their father's palace. Emily had been incredibly antsy and she didn't know how to tell her brother everything she'd encountered while on earth.
"Now what were you talking about sister?" Michael asked.
"Well," she said. "I was on earth taking care of Ezra, when I saw this strange explosion from somewhere in the forest," Emily continued. "Suddenly, every inch of my body felt heavy, like a darkness had taken over,"
"Do you know exactly where?" Michael questioned. Emily nodded. "Then we must tell our father,"
Lucifer adjusted quickly as his eyes glowed a dark lead throughout his time in hell he hadn't pictured that his father's earth would be so bright. But then again, he had to get thrown out of heaven just because he cared for his father. Lucifer looked around, they were in the middle of a forest just as he remembered. The clearing they stood in had a large stone ritual base. One that he assumed had been in the forest for thousands of years. Mammon stood near it, he'd taken control of a pretty strawberry blonde girl. He focused to see if the girl was still alive in there somehow but no longer could he sense that soul, which meant she was no longer alive.
Lucifer looked to the left and saw two of the servants. One of them being Jennifer and the other Alex. However, something seemed different about Alex. Like he no longer had darkness throughout his soul. It couldn't have been possible as most people who sold their souls to him would always have a darkened part of themselves. But this was different. Somehow he'd gotten his soul back.
"Mammon," Lucifer said.
"Yes brother?" Mammon stepped forward.
"What happened while I was away?" Lucifer asked.
"So much sir," Mammon explained. "We're only down one servant but I think we can still handle it, however, I can't say the same if those dipshits are going to get in our way,"
"hmm," Lucifer said thoughtfully. "You mean the wiccan who betrayed us and my brothers' descendants?"
Mammon stayed silent, the red hair falling into his eyes like it was normal. If the Nephilim and her friend were the only ones who stood in their way, then he'd have to get rid of them. He turned to speak with Alex and Jennifer only to find Alex had vanished. Angered, he yelled. Lightning struck around the ritual site and he turned back to Mammon.
"Find him!" Lucifer ordered. "He's going to tell our enemies and that's not something I can deal with!"
Jennifer and Mammon took off in search of Alex.
Althea hated the bad feeling resonating after that explosion in the forest. Suddenly everything was going haywire and her instincts were kicking into overdrive. Even her angelic side was on edge. But what else could she do? All she could think about was Lucifer and how the demon could have escaped into their world. She wasn't at all prepared to face a distant relative head on. She wouldn't consider Lucifer a relative more like he was an annoying pest. Someone that she would have been ready to get rid of as soon as she saw him.
Thoughts circled her head as she still couldn't get rid of that bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.
"Althea?" A voice said.
Althea snapped from her thoughts as she looked over to find Abigail and Peter staring at her.
"What?" Althea asked.
"What's wrong?" Peter questioned.
"Nothing is wrong," Althea responded. She gulped trying to force her thoughts from her mind. "I just have a bad feeling."
Althea raced upstairs and entered Ezra's room. He was still asleep but she wouldn't let that last long. Althea ran over to his bed side and shook him awake. He groaned and slowly opened his eyes. Althea stood over him trying to get him out of the bed. The once bright green eyes were lighter than before.
"Ezra," Althea said. "We've got an issue,"
"What is it?" Ezra asked, groaning.
"I think Lucifer has been released," Althea responded.
Ezra sat bolt upright, his eyes having grown wide. She figured that she knew what was going on. "We need to act now," Ezra stated.
Ezra stumbled slightly, still wobbly from whatever happened to him.
"You need to be careful," Althea ordered. "You've lost your grace. So whatever happens you need to take it one step at a time,"
Ezra nodded as the two walked out of the room.
Emily knew one of two things, first of all, with Lucifer being on the loose, Michael had to step in. While she didn't exactly want to deal with another fight between her brothers, she didn't know what else to do. There left only one option and as Michael was heading toward the gate, she chased after him and grabbed his arm.
"What are you going to do?!" Emily exclaimed. "Lucifer is probably hunting for you and a way to destroy humanity, look I know that you want to keep things hidden, but I think it's about time we tell Althea the truth,"
Michael paused and stared down at the earth. A world in which his father had created. Already in jeopardy because some idiot satanists wanted to do something about it.
"She is not ready to hear the truth, Emily," Michael responded.
Emily rolled her eyes and slapped her brother in the back of the head. He flinched and glared at her, his eyes turning bright blue.
"Listen Michael!" Emily yelled. "If you want Althea and her friends to stop Lucifer, you need to tell her the truth, if you do not, then Lucifer will get to her, she's probably the most powerful nephilim in existence," she continued. "She helped you out a lot last year,"
"Mammon still escaped!" Michael yelled back.
"It doesn't matter, the least you can do for her is to talk to her! Tell her the truth!" Emily said with seriousness in her voice.
"Fine, but you better be right about this,"
