Peter remained in the void for five minutes before he found himself in the forest surrounded by thick green trees and leaves that spread so high you could barely see the sky. Peter pushed his way through the trees and came across Mammon and a ritual site. The demon possessed the body of Melissa; however, he still looked the same. The hair of the girl had been cut short and no longer did the girl have long strawberry blonde hair and green eyes. Her eyes were way darker almost black.

Last time he saw Melissa the woman lost a lot of weight; she was now as skinny as a supermodel. Mammon looked at a large leather-bound book when Peter urged his spirit to go near it. He could eventually see the words as clear as day. It had been a summoning spell, not just any spell per says, one that could summon Lucifer. If they could bring the devil back, then that would mean all hell would be let loose. Something that he didn't want to mess with. Worried that the servants had gone too far now, Peter urged his soul to travel to Ezra's location. Once again, he flew until he located the angel and not a moment too soon, Alex and the servants were close to him.

Alex distracted Ezra while Adam and Jennifer got close to him with the syringe. Panic flooded Peter's system as he calls out to Ezra but seeing as how Ezra was barely even an angel, he forced his soul back into his body.

Peter bolted noticing that he was back in his room. If Peter couldn't get to Ezra in time, then the servants and demon would win. He jumped to his feet and left his room. Going down the stairs, he ran into the living room where Emily, Abigail, and Althea were.

"Guys!" Peter exclaimed.

"Peter?" Althea said. "What's wrong?"

"It's Ezra, I think he's in danger!" Peter warned.

Ezra had to leave the cabin just so he could clear his head. Ezra walked through the forest despite being weak, Ezra didn't want to look at Althea, not while she could still be mad at him. Ezra remained on the bench deep in thought. That is until rustling came from the forest.

Ezra pulled out his angel blade and stood. Alex held his hands up surrendering. He was dressed in his classic black pants and white t-shirt.

"I just want to talk," Alex said.

Ezra kept his guard up not willing to take his chances. His dagger remained in his hand.

"We are way past talking," Ezra glared.

"Right, but even though we're kind of on the wrong foot, I just thought we could talk?"

Ezra narrowed his eyes as Alex sat down.

Alex was ready to knock the socks off Adam and Jennifer. Leaving him to distract the angel while they took his Grace. He glanced toward the forest where Jennifer and Adam were hiding. No way was he going to believe that his friends could get around an angel who always had his guard up.

"I wanted to ask for some advice," Alex started. Narrowing his eyes to his friends. "Your Charge's friend gave me some good questions to answer, to tell you the truth, I don't know what I'm doing,"

"You made the decision to turn to the dark side," Ezra spoke. "You servants pushed your angels away; you even sold your soul for what? Exactly?"

"I know I've done some shitty things, but this," Alex shook his head. "I want out, you gave Peter a chance, why not let me have one?"

Alex glanced over again and saw his friends getting closer. However, as they got close enough things happened so fast that even Alex didn't expect it. Jennifer and Adam attacked Ezra; Alex got up fast as the fight broke out. Ezra kicked Jennifer and pulled out his dagger. Jennifer back flipped kicking the weapon out of Ezra's hands. The weapon flew and fell on the ground sticking out. She pushed herself back to her feet. The angel stumbled and swung at Adam who evaded it, grabbed Ezra's wrist, and pushed his arm behind his back.

"Nice moves Ezra, too bad they're weak," Adam shoved the angel to Jennifer.

Jennifer grabbed him and held him tight. Alex covered his eyes as he knew what would happen next. Adam pulled out the syringe and approached the angel. Looking through his fingers he watched as the syringe was pushed into the angel's neck filling the tube with a bright shiny liquid.

"There, see?? That wasn't so bad now, was it?" Adam stated as Jennifer pushed the angel to the ground.

"No!" A voice boomed.

Everyone turned to find Peter, Emily, Abigail, and Althea turning the corner.

Althea came around the corner to find that her angel had fallen. Now she wished she hadn't yelled at him. Tears brimmed the corners of her eyes as she stepped forward, she noted the bright liquid in Adam's hand. It emitted a strange energy. More heavenly and she had a connection to it. Either that or the Nephilim inside of her wanted to grab it and inject it back into Ezra. Adam, Jennifer, and Alex watching her.

"What did you do to him?!" Abigail exclaimed.

"That's none of your business!" Adam called.

Peter clenched his hands. "He took Ezra's Grace!"

Althea ran toward Ezra who was currently unconscious. Peter, and Abigail ran after the servants while Emily stayed behind to help Althea get Ezra back to the cabin.

Seeing her brother helpless and unmoving scared Emily as she didn't want to think about her brother not having his angelic powers. Guardian angels were meant to protect the charges they were assigned to without their powers they were just another wingless angel.

Emily and Althea retrieved Ezra and brought him back. The two placed him on the couch and waited until Peter and Abigail returned.
