The last thing that Ezra needed to deal with was the possibility of his charge kissing Peter. Even though he was no longer part of the Servants didn't matter. Ezra crossed his arms and tapped his food. Emily on the other hand didn't want to deal with the results, so rather, Ezra told her not to worry about it.
Emily nodded and turned on her heels. It left him and even Althea alone Peter.
"Here we go," Althea rolled her eyes.
"What on earth am I looking at?" Ezra questioned. "Last I checked you two didn't have much love for each other,"
"Ezra, you're her angel, not her father," Peter argued.
The nerve of the guy. One minute Peter wanted to take his head off and the next he falls in love with Althea. Ezra shook his head and grabbed Althea's arm. She protested but Ezra wouldn't hear of it. He slammed the door on Peter's face before dragging the young Nephilim to the hall.
"Ow!" Althea exclaimed "Ezra! Knock it off!"
Althea tore her arm away. "What has gotten into you?!"
Ezra turned back toward her.
"So many things!" Ezra answered. "For starters, last I checked you didn't like him," he continued. "But now?!"
Althea huffed. It was clear that she wouldn't want to tell him. Of course, he also hadn't been expecting to sound the way he did. There was no time to do anything, Mammon was out there and wherever he was he would be waiting on them. There'd been no time to fall in love.
"Why do you care?!" Althea exclaimed. "You've always vanished on me, or you get yourself cooped up in your room," she continued. "What's going on with you Ezra? You seem to be hiding things from me, it's like your becoming human!"
Ezra flinched. Hearing that coming from his charge felt like someone stabbed him in the heart with a dagger. The words cut him deep.
"Well maybe I am!" Ezra yelled. "Even so, you have no right to fall in love like that, you could get yourself killed!"
"You mean how you weren't there when Margaret died?" Althea stated.
Suddenly, everything stopped. Ezra hadn't brought Margaret up in a while. But the fact that Althea said something about it, made it ten times worse. Ezra turned toward her.
"Don't ever bring Margaret into this!" Ezra ordered.
"Why shouldn't I?" Althea glared. "Ever since Mammon came to our world, we've been doing nothing but hid from him!" she continued. "Last I checked, we couldn't do much of anything!"
"All I want is for you to be safe," Ezra argued.
"I can take care of myself!" Althea answered.
She stormed off as Ezra called back to her. However, it didn't matter as Althea was long gone by now. She'd walked down the hall to her room and slammed the door. Not willing to face anyone, Ezra vanished with what little power he had.

Adam spent most of his time trying to track down one of the angels they had before. Using his mirror, he searched around until it picked up on a fight. Curious, Adam ordered the mirror to show him rather than using sound. The mirror rippled like the waves and revealed Althea and Ezra arguing. Despite knowing Ezra was losing his angelic gifts, it made him realize that there was a way to get the syringe and plunge it into his neck. Adam smirked. Now the plot was unfolding as he spoke.
"Alex! Jennifer!" Adam called.
His two friends came out from the trees. They'd been out of breath, so Adam assumed they were trying to find a way out of the forest. Of course, Adam knew this was coming. Sometimes he wished he had better friends.
"Did you figure out how to get an angel's grace?" Jennifer asked.
"Of course I did," Adam answered. "Let's just say.... Ezra and Althea just got into a fight."

Of all the things Jennifer thought about, Ezra and his charge fighting hadn't been on her bucket list. However, she also noted that this could be their chance to steal his Grace. Ezra had always been a pain in the ass so this would be their chance to get back at him. Jennifer smirked, turning toward her friends, she nodded. The only question was: How were they going to get close enough to inject the needle and take his Grace?
"Any ideas?" Jennifer asked.
"I say we use bait," Adam suggested.
"Right, but who would be stupid enough to trick him?" Alex asked.
Adam and Jennifer glanced at him.
"Wait, hold on!" Alex said. "What do you expect me to do?!"
"Simple," Adam answered. "Keep Ezra distracted, and we'll do the rest,"
"Fine!" Alex grumbled.

Peter had serious thoughts about Ezra, he understood that Ezra was Althea's angel, but he'd started exhibiting different emotions and personalities. One of which, the emotion of jealousy, last he checked it was rare for angels to become human or display human emotions. He shook his head right now that was the least of their worries.
Peter walked over to his desk and grabbed his leather-bound book. Everyone kept getting sidetracked and Peter figured that they'd get on with it. He grabbed a cauldron and opened his book to an Astral Projection Potion. It wasn't so much as he planned to summon something but wanted to find out what Mammon was doing. By now the demon would be gathering ingredients to summon his brother but which brother he didn't know and needed to find out. If he could get a close look at the spell, it would help even more. Peter walked over to his closet and opened it. Inside sat a safe. Since they'd been at the cabin, he made sure to collect as much herbs as he could. Some were easy to find, others not so much as he had to go to a wiccan shop to get them.
He dialed the numbers until the safe clicked and he was let in. Inside the safe there were different ingredients. A white dove's feather, tongue of an eel, dandelion powder and even some normal items you could get from the store. Chamomile and cinnamon just to name a few.
Peter grabbed a jar of cinnamon, cloves, and a jar of Benzoin. If Ezra wanted them to focus on hunting down the servants and Mammon, then he had to find out where they were and what they were doing. Gathering the remainder of the materials he needed he walked back to his desk.
Astral Projection Potion
One Basil leaf
One clove
Two dashes of cinnamon
Crushed Benzoin
Peter added each ingredient starting with the base being Chamomile tea for protection. Peter began to boil the tea and added the rest of the ingredients. One basil and one clove, two dashes of cinnamon and lastly, he crushed the benzoin and dumped it into the cauldron. As he added he began casting a spell.
Spiritus Terrae
Coniuro te, ut des michi praesidium et dirige,
Animam meam ut discas inimicos meos consilia.
Absconde me, ne quis me inveniat
Dirige me ad locum suum.
Peter repeated the spell and as he mixed the ingredients the potion combined and created an almost green like color. Grabbing his teacup, Peter scooped a full cup and drank it down the hatch. He hoped that the protection herbs would keep him hidden from his enemies. Peter laid back and closed his eyes until all he saw was darkness.
