Chaeyoung sat against the wall, staring at the broken seashell on the floor.
She exhaled heavily with her chin in her palm.
"I know she didn't have any bad intentions for doing that... Maybe she's a nice girl and didn't understand what I was saying. Did I get too angry?"
She face palmed herself in frustration.
"Shit! Whatever the case, I can't just let her run off in the dark, pouring rain like that! She's a girl wearing just a singlet and underwear! It's not safe"
Chaeyoung charged to the front door and opened it.
"Woah! This rain is heavy! I don't even have an umbrella"
"Excuse me!"
Chaeyoung looked up as she was putting on her shoes to find two men walking over.
"Isn't this house unoccupied?"
"I just moved in today", said Chaeyoung.
"We're the police. So you wouldn't mind cooperating with us, right?"
Chaeyoung shook her head.
One of the officers took out a photo from his pocket and showed it to her.
"Have you seen this girl around here? She has these... hair accessories"

Chaeyoung looked at the photo and immediately recognised who it was but hid her expressions.
"Did something happen to this girl?", she asked.
"Hey! We're the one's asking the questions! Have you seen her or not?!"
Chaeyoung frowned.
"Nope! Never seen her before. As I said before, I just moved in today. Who is she anyways?"
The officer stared at her for a moment.
"She's a mass murderer. She escaped from her cell this morning... She's a fugitive at loose. Before noon time today..."
"She has already killed 14 people"
Chaeyoung felt her heart drop.
"A fugitive? Her?!"
"Hey! Don't scare a kid like that. She's taking it seriously. Don't worry, he's just joking. She's actually just a missing person. Her parents are worried about her, so please contact the police if you see her around", said the other officer.
