Chapter 22 - The Untold Truth

Yeji stood in the dark room staring at the splattered wall of blood, and Hyunjin's headless body sitting on the bed.

"What the hell did you do..."

She looked around for the Psionicus.

"Where is Sally?"

On the rooftop of the hospital, Sally floated in front of the billboard, staring through the city and at the mountains in the distance.

"It can't be wrong. They're over there."

She lowered herself down onto the edge of the building before stepping off.

As she fell down, she kicked off the wall, launching herself away and causing a massive dent to the building.

She flew through the streets, jumping from traffic lights and cars, causing them to crash each other as people around screamed.

"It can't be wrong. It's that girl from the house the other day. The traitor, who chose to live with humans over us..."

Director Jinyoung stared intently into Mii's eyes as she hung on the wall chained and crying.

"Discrimination is rooted deep inside of humans. Claiming to coexist in times of peace is nothing but to maintain a good image. Humans always separate themselves from others. They won't feel secure if they have no one to despise. So they use the colour of skin to separate and enslave others. It's the same even between comrades. Not to mention, we're not even a 'race'"

"Once there's disagreement, the slaughter will happen. The evidence is in their history. The humans kill each other based on minor differences; they are who we couldn't expect to coexist with."

"History will repeat itself."

"By then, it's our turn to exterminate the homosapiens"

"I guess you already know, that there is no place for you to live among these humans"

Mii's lips trembled as she remembered all her friends back at the house.

All the happy memories she had with each one of them.

"I can... no longer see them again...?"

"If I had become stronger..."

Her eyes widened as a visions flashed in her mind.
