Chapter 7 - Collision of Fate

"What are those things on your head? Depending on your answer, you may get hurt."

"Why? I don't know anything about you."

"Shut up. You'll answer my question or else-"

"Sorry to crush your spirit, but even if there were a hundred of you, you still couldn't beat me..."

"What'd you say?"

Momo got out of the pod and walked away.

"You're lucky. Mama told me not to fight any humans, so you don't have to die..."

Jeongyeon huffed before letting out a laughter.

"You don't show any trace of emotion when you've got a gun pointed at you. There's no mistake. You're friends with that bitch, aren't you?!"

Momo ignored her and kept walking. 

"Hey... Don't look down on me."

"You're trying to threaten me with that thing?"

The trigger went off and a bullet flew right at Momo.

"Wha-"

The bullet sent her crashing onto the sand.

She touched her cheek and saw blood on her hands.

"What... was that? It was so heavy..."

"It's a custom made .50 caliber tungsten bullet. A special anti-horned girl weapon! It cannot be repelled like those 9mm Parabellum lead bullets!"

Jeongyeon walked up towards Momo and pointed her gun at her.

"If you got a scratch from that distance, you'll die if I get closer. At this distance, I'll be far enough away that your 'hands' won't reach me"

Momo froze in shock, confused as to how she knew about them and who this woman really was.

"Boo! Come here, boy!", Chaeyoung called out as she came outside with his dog bowl.

She heard his barking along with some footsteps running towards her.

"Chaeyoung!"

"Mii, you took off Boo's leash again, didn't you?"

"Mii!", she smiled.

Inside, Dahyun and Sana were cooking dinner together.

"It's good that Mii came back, isn't it?", asked Sana.

"Well, I'm glad she did, but..."

In the other room, she could hear Mii and Chaeyoung's voices.

"Mii, what are you doing?"

"Mii! Mii!"

"Hey, be careful!"

Hearing Chaeyoung laughing with Mii made Dahyun lose focus on her cooking.

"Tch..."

As she stirred the pot of noodles, she noticed that Sana stopped cutting the carrots.

"What's wrong, Sana?"

"Oh, nothing"

"You've got homework, right? Go ahead, I'll take care of dinner tonight"

"It's okay. I want to help. Since I'm a member of this house now"

Dahyun smiled at her before turning around to see Chaeyoung and Mii running through the hallway and having fun.

"It's about time that the other members help out too..."
