Chapter 8: Sins of the Past

Mii flew against the thin wall, destroying it on impact. 

"MII!", Dahyun yelled.

Momo launched herself towards Mii and sent her flying out of the window and into the backyard.

"I must protect Sana!"

Mii crashed onto the rocky floor, rolling against it as Momo leapt up into the air.

Mii stood back up as Momo was coming down towards her.

She had her head hung down low.

"Here it comes! Give me your best shot!"

"Mii?"

Momo stopped mid air and stepped back onto the ground.

"Chaeyoung! Chaeyoung!", she cried.

"Why aren't you fighting back?!"

Momo backhanded Mii onto the floor.

"Hey..."

Momo turned around only to get slapped across the face by Chaeyoung.

She froze in shock as her cheek throbbed.

"Why... Why did you do that all of a sudden!?"

"That's my line! Just what the hell are you doing?!"

Momo trembled in anger as they both stared each other down.

"Mii! Are you alright!?"

Dahyun tried waking her up but she was unconscious.

"Chaeyoung, I'm sorry! I didn't know it would end up like this!"

Momo watched in confusion as Sana sobbed in front of Chaeyoung.

"Why...? Why!?! She's the one who's evil!! Why are you all protecting Mina?!"

Sana looked up at Momo, not understanding what she was talking about.

"Who's Mina?"

"She's a very bad person! So... why?"

Chaeyoung looked at Momo in utter disappointment.

"Why...? I didn't do anything wrong...", she cried.

"Get out of here... And don't come back"

Momo grit her teeth before running off.

"Mii! Mii, please answer me!"

Chaeyoung turned around in worry.

"Hey, Mii! Are you okay?! Mii!"

"It's no good! She's losing it!"

"Mii! Hang in there, Mii!"

Momo laid down under the shelter in the mountains.

"I'm not evil... I'm not evil yet...", she sobbed to herself.

Sana walked up the staircase and into the shelter.

"Uhm... Momo. You forgot your bag"

"I don't need it..."

"Eh??"

"Sana, I hate you! You treated me like I was a bad person!"

"What are you saying? But wasn't it you who did something wrong? You thrusted Mii away all of a sudden"
