The horned girl sat against the tree by the grave stone waiting.
"Will you play with me again?"
"It's been three days since then... Maybe, she won't come back..."
She sighed as she balled up and pulled her hat down to cover her eyes.

"Hey, mum. I wanna play outside. The time I went out on my own was my mistake. We're going back home tomorrow right? There's a girl I want to see again before that. Please", Chaeyoung begged.
Her mother, who was reading crocheting, just looked at her and didn't respond.
"I guess that's a no...", she pouted.
Her mother sighed heavily.
"There haven't been any more murder cases for the past three days... So please be careful!"
"Thanks mum!!"
Chaeyoung quickly ran out and put on her shoes.
"Chaeyoung."
She turned around to find Dahyun standing behind her with her arms crossed.
"Don't forget about the festival tomorrow, okay?"
"Uh, yeah. Of course."
"So? Where are you heading off to?"
"To see a girl that you don't know about"
"EHH?!! W-What do you mean by that, Chae??? Who and where is she????"
"Ah- That's right. I never asked for her name..."

The horned girl stood up and was about to head back down the mountain when she noticed someone walking over.
"You were waiting? Sorry for coming so late", Chaeyoung smiled.
Her heart raced with excitement and her face went pink. She quickly shook it and patted her face to cool herself down.
"Don't get me wrong. I wasn't waiting for you..."
She turned around trying to hide her face.
"I thought I'd find you here.", Chaeyoung smiled.
There was a slight pause for a brief moment before she started speaking again.
"Today is my last day, so I've come to say goodbye."
Her eyes widened as her heart sank to her stomach.
She gripped tightly onto her dress, almost tearing it.
"I forgot about that..."
"Will... we see each other again?"
"Of course! We will meet again next summer!"
"That can't be... After I thought that I wouldn't be alone anymore... I thought we could be together..."
