Chapter 14 - The Lost Bond

"You've got nothing left but your head.", Mina grinned.

Momo stepped back, anxiously waiting for an attack.

"Are you sure? With this many dead people laying around, I suppose it's about time for you to get ready as well."

"You're next."

Tzuyu watched from the side when she felt something pulse inside of her.

The wind picked up, blowing dust and sand around.

Jihyo looked back as Momo felt another presence reawaken.

"Tzuyu...?"

"Big Sis, take Mama and run. I'll deal with Mina."

Sunmi looked back and forth between the Psionicuses in utter confusion.

"Why? Usually Psions kill their own parents. Protecting them was never suppose to happen. Did something change Tzuyu?"

"Mama, I'd like to tell you something... I won't kill anyone anymore. I'll behave myself. So, please don't kill me."

Jihyo wrapped her arms around her from behind.

"I understand. We'll take our time to redeem ourselves."

Mina, who was standing there listening to their nonsense, became irritated.

"Your happy family is useless. You'll die anyh-"

Before she could finish speaking, she was thrusted in the face and sent flying backwards along the bridge, crashing against the floor.

She got back up with scratches and blood running down her mouth.

"You sure run your mouth a lot", Tzuyu glared.

Mina grunted and launched herself towards her, but before she could even get close, Tzuyu's Vectors reached out to her.

"What is this range?!"

Her eyes widened as the Vector went beneath her and sprung upwards, uppercutting her and sending her into the air.

Not even a second for recovery, Mina was punched across the face, dragged along the ground by the leg and thrown against the railing. 

She spat out blood as she felt her back crack.

"Is that all you've got? That's disappointing. You're nothing much at all", Tzuyu taunted.

Mina wiped the blood off her face with rage.

Jihyo watched in shock, surprised at the immense strenght her daughter had.

"If this goes on, Tzuyu could even surpass Mina!"

 The corners of Sunmi's mouth arched upwards as she felt that there was actually hope in defeating Mina, but this was cut short when she heard the sound of beeping in the distance.

"Tzuyu's... Bomb timer?!"

Tzuyu froze mid battle as she heard this too.

"Where is the remote?!"
