Alex’s POV

It’s now the last class for the day and I can’t wait for it to get over. Today has been exhausting. The whole school knows about Ryan and the rumors have been going around and they have been shit. Some even had the never to come up and ask me about it. Thankfully Dom was there to stop me from doing anything.

Ok ok only 3 minute is left. Come on come on just get over. I thought while glaring at the clock. “Stop glaring at the clock or you will burn hole in it.” I heard Dom whisper in my ear. I tried to control my shiver but it didn’t work. I looked beside me. And there he was so so close. His dark brown eyes looking so hypnotic. I could never get tired of staring into them. I know I’m staring but I can’t stop. Oh my please snap out of it Alex. I thought willing myself to move but it’s like my body has a mind of its own as my eyes moved from his eyes to his lips. They looked so plump and kissable. And that’s when I snapped out of my daze and cleared my throat while I felt my cheeks heat up.

When I sneaked a peak at Dom after a moment I saw him smirking as he was already looking at me. He was gonna say something but the bell rang. Literally saved by the bell. I quickly stood up from the seat and rushed to leave but not fast enough as I heard him chuckle. Dammn what’s happening to me. I took a deep breath and exited the doors of the school building before walking towards the entrance of Ryan’s school building, I waited for him like the other parents while ignoring their gaze. Soon the gates opened and the kids came running out the door. I waited patiently for Ryan and smiled when I saw him running towards me. I bent down and opened my arms ready for the impact. When he came reached me he jumped on me and I caught him. Being careful of his still healing ribs.

I hugged him tight and was relieved that atleast he wasn’t upset. “Hi love. How was your first day today?” I asked after I pulled away to make sure he was okay. I saw him smile a big smile and his cheeks turn pink. I raise my eyebrows and waited for him to reply. “It was so good. Miss Brenda is so kind and- and I made a drawing for you. Oh also I made a friend today. She is so pretty. I call her pretty girl. Her eyes are dark blue and they are so so beautiful.” I listened to Ryan ramble about a girl in amusement.

I picked him up and walked towards our car as he was still talking about this pretty girl and how she was so cute and shy. Oh my God this is the cutest thing ever. Amber was not going to come with us. We reached the car and I buckled him in the car seat then I went to driving seat. When I started the car that’s when he finished rambling. I looked at him and grinned. “Looks like you like her a lot.” I said and then chuckled when he smiled shyly with pink cheeks and nodded eagerly.

I started leaving the parking lot and then asked him, “Hi love do you want something before we go home.?” I looked in the rear view mirror to see him thinking. “I don’t know. Can we try something new today?” He asked quietly. I looked at him smiled gently. Baby steps. “Of course love, anything you want. What do you have in mind?” I asked as we left the school. “Can we try Indian? I heard Miss Brenda talk about it today.” He replied. I like Indian it’s very tasty. “Sure we can. There’s this cute restaurant. It’s an Indian restaurant. What’s say we go home, change and go there?” I asked

“Yeah I like that.” Ryan replied. We reached home and then went to the room to change. After making sure Ryan was ready I went and got ready as well. Soon we were out of the house and in the car. The ride was filled with laughs and giggles as we sang or rather screeched to the songs on the radio. After about 30 minutes we reached the restaurant.

The restaurant was named ‘Spice’ and it looked so homey from outside. I got out of the car and helped Ryan out as well. We walked in the restaurant and immediately Ryan’s hold on my hand tightened. I looked down and saw him looking around nervously. I squeezed his hand to reassure him that I’m with him.

Soon we were seated on our table and we were eating this delicious chicken tikka with naan and roasted papad I think it’s called with raita and chicken biryani. This is all so damn delicious and I can see that Ryan loved them as well. We also had met with the owner and they were the sweetest person I have ever met. The wife was the chef along with the husband.

Now we are going back home. I looked in the rear view mirror and asked Ryan, “So love did you enjoyed Indian today?” Ryan nodded and said, “It was so delicious I had never ate something like that ever.” I smiled happy that he was happy.

We reached home and changed into PJ’s. “Alex can we watch Toy Story” Ryan asked as we made our way to living room. I looked at him nodded. “Sure.” We got settled in with Ryan holding his batman toy and blanket around us.
