The loud sound of my alarm woke me up from my sleep. As I opened my eyes I saw the foot of someone on my chest. I groaned and pushed the food off of me. I looked around and saw Amber snoring with her head at the foot of the bed and her leg on me. She tosses and turns in the sleep a lot. I shook my head and looked at the time. 7.15 am. Time for school. I groaned and shook Amber. She didn’t woke up. If the house is on fire than to this girl won’t wake up. I took the pillow and smirked.
I smashed the pillow on her face and she sprung up falling off the floor. I heard Amber groan but I was busy laughing at her. Amber got up from the floor and glared at me. “Why would you do that?” I just smiled innocently and said, “We have to go to school. Now come go and get ready.” I shooed her in my bathroom while I went to the guest room’s bathroom.
After that Jake incident at the diner, Amber was very upset. She kept apologizing for her behaviour towards me and for not believing me. I assured her that she had nothing to apologise. Amber might me a badass girl from the outside but she is very sensitive and innocent from inside. She had to take care of your alcoholic mother from a very young age. She became mature too soon. We had a sleepover at my home and we ate and drink junk food and crushed over our favourite actors. It was a good bonding time for us.
Now it’s Monday and Amber has stopped moping around is back to herself. So to celebrate this we are going to do cliff jumping. It’s something on our bucket list and the weather is perfect as well. So we were thinking of going after school. Since Amber’s bike is here we thought that I’ll take my care and she could go home on her bike and will go in the car.
After 20 mins we both were ready and on the road. As soon as Amber droped her bike at home we zoomed out to school, singing in top of our lungs. When we reached school, all the eyes turned to my beauty as always. I looked at Am and she had a smirk on her face. “What’s say wanna do a dramatic entrance?” She asked. “You know it girl.” I winked at her. We both opened the car door at the same time and put our legs out first then the second leg and then our body. I looked around with the blank face and flipped my hair over my shoulder. It didn’t helped that we looked in our clothes.

I saw everyone looking at us. But one particular eyes caught my attention. He had amusement in his eyes and the way he checked me out. It was different from all the guys here. Same with Noah but he was looking at Amber. Dom’s eyes met mine and he smirked. He knew what we were doing. But suddenly I saw Noah go rigid by looking at something beside us. I furrowed my eyebrows and saw Jake and his friends coming towards us from the left. My face was void of any emotion but I angry. I saw Amber tense besides me. From the conner of my eyes I saw Dom and Noah making their way to us as if sensing something is going to go wrong.
Jake came and stood in front of Amber, “Hey babe you look hot today.” He moved forward to hug her but I pushed him back with one arm. I narrowed my eyes and stood close to Amber for support. “Listen here Jerk. We are not together not anymore. So quit calling me babe. I’m done with you and I’m done with your excuses.” Amber snapped. Yeah Amber knew he was cheating but that bastard kept saying it won’t happen again. “Whatever you are not even that hot. It was just a bet to sleep with you. But I don’t think anyone can do that. Like come on look at yourself. Why can’t you be skinny-“ befor I could punch him, Noah was already on him. Noah tackled him and kept punching him. Jake’s friends didn’t interfere. I looked at Amber to make sure she is ok but she had her face blank. But I know she was hurting.
I looked at Noah and saw Dom whisper something to him. Noah stopped and looked at Amber. “Noah please take Amber inside.” With that he went in the school along with Amber. Dom was still with me. I looked around with venom in my eyes. These people have some guts to go against me. I stand up on the hood of my car as Dom looks at me in confusion. “I think you guys have forgotten who the fuck I am. What I can do. What was the first thing I said to every fucking one of you in the first week of the school. DON’T FUCKING MESS WITH ME OR MY FRIENDS. But you.” I point to the football team, “have messed with my sister. This is the last warning if I see any of you come so much as near to Amber, Noah and Dom I’ll break your legs. Let’s see how you will play football then.” With that I jumped down from the hood and went in the school with Dom.
As soon as we were inside we looked around in search of Amber and Noah. “They are at the back. Come on.” Dom said and started leading in the back of the school. Before I can go out, Dom pulled me by my hand and I crashed into his chest. I looked up at him and he looked down at me. His hands were around me and I have never felt more safe and protected and comfortable ever. “Are you ok?” He asked quietly as I sighed into the hug. I just nodded my head against his chest. He pulled back and cupped my face. “Are you sure?” He asked looking in my eyes. I sighed and closed my eyes. “It’s just that I know Amber. She may look tough from the outside but she is very sensitive from inside. I’m worried this would affect her badly.” I admitted.
Still cupping my face he pushed my face up and said, “Don’t worry okay, she might be stronger than you believe. Plus we are here for ok? And you know Noah. He might be childish but he is perfect for Amber.” Dom explained. I nodded at him. “Thank you.” I whispered and hugged him one more time before pulling away. Dom might be the guy who everyone is scared of but I know he is nothing like that. I smiled at him and he returned a genuine smile. But that soon changed into a teasing smirk when he noticed that I had my hands on his chest while his were on my waist. I narrowed my eyes, daring him to say something. He just shook his head and chuckled.
