Alex’s POV

I was walking with Amber while holding Charlies hand and noticed that her cheeks were still pink. I smirked and looked at her when she said, “Not a word.” Like she knew what I was gonna say. I chuckled but dropped it for now.

I saw Ryan chatting enthusiastically with both Dom and Noah and I couldn’t be more happier. Anyways the vibe of this fest was so awesome. Like you could feel the energy that it was giving of automatically putting the smile on one’s face.

There were various colourful stalls side by side. Some stalls even had the people in costumes and some had people entertaining costumers with talks or dance or singing etc. There were also various stalls for games or clothes or other small accessories. I could feel Amber drooling besides me as she gawked at all the stalls.

Suddenly I felt the light tug on my hand. I looked at Charlie and saw her looking at the candy floss stall. I smiled at that and called Dom as he was near to me. When Dom and Ryan looked at me I motioned towards the candy floss stall and started moving towards it with Charlie. “So what type of candy floss do you want Charlie?” I asked as Dom and Ryan and two love birds followed us. Charlie looked at me with her shy eyes and pointed towards the pink flower type candy floss.

I looked towards Ryan and asked the same question where he pointed towards the purple flowered cotton candy.

We waited and saw the person make the cotton candy and when it was ready we paid for it and moved forward. I down at the kids and smiled seeing them enjoy their sweet treat with such innocence is pure joy. I took out my phone and clicked their pics.

We moved forward and looked at and tried different types of food while joking around and enjoying ourselves. Such as burgers, tacos, waffles, noodles, crepes etc.

Right now we are kind of full so we all are walking around the gaming stalls and other stalls. “Alex look there is a dance battle going on.” I was looking around when Amber said pointing at the right where there was a dance battle going on. We all walked towards there to watch. Ryan was on Noah’s shoulder whereas Charlie was on Dom’s this would help them to see. The dancers were really good.

I saw the dancer finish and the host announcing another battle. I looked at Amber and she looked at me and we knew were going in. Amber grinned widely and I smirked. From the conner of my eyes I saw the guys looking at us wierdly. This round was dual battle and it was perfect as Amber and I were gonna dance. We both went to the announcer and told him that we would like to participate and then went back to the boys and kids to wait.

Ryan who was on Noah looked at us with excitement and asked, “Are you going to dance Alex?” I looked at him and smiled. “Yes my love, I and Amber are going to dance.” He started chanting yay and excitedly clapping his hands but my focused had shifted to Dom who stood beside me with Charlie still on her shoulders. “I didn’t think you would be in dancing and all.” Dom said with a bit of curiosity. “Yeah. Neither did I. It was just something Amber wanted to do so she asked me and I said why not. But after a month we came to know that we weren’t made for it. But we got this bucket list thing going on where one of the thing is to dance in public, so we got our chance.” Yeah dancing in public is our other item in bucket list and another item off our list.

Soon our names were announced and we went on the stage. In my mind I knew we were gonna make a fool out of ourselves. Oh well. Once the song started the opposite team went first. Then it was our turn and it went exactly how I expected, we both were literally stumbling on each other but I could here Ryan’s cheer us so loudly and his loud laughter made it all worth it. In the end of course we lost but I think Amber and I don’t regret it.

Once we were back to our group I could see Amber with pink cheeks as Noah looked at her with the big grin. I could feel Dom trying not to laugh at me for my awesome dance move but oh well. Ryan and Charlie were still giggling. “Ok guys enough. We know we did great there’s no need to compliment us.” Amber said with sarcasm dripping out of every word. I saw Ryan and Charlie laugh at that and Noah and Dom chuckle. “Let’s just go guys I think we have embarassed ourselves enough.” I said as I ruffled Ryan’s hair and squeezed Charlie’s cheeks.

After that we went around and walked more. There were different types of rides for children that the kids loved

After that we visited Cole’s (A/n I hope that’s the name if not then please do comment) food stall, one of my student at the gym. We met his mom and dad. They had the Indian food stall and we tried many Indian fast food such as samosa, dhokla, khandvi and gol gappa. All of it was so delicious. His mom is Indian and she was so welcoming.

Now it’s evening and we are now just reaching home. Amber is staying over and we had dropped Charlie home. Noah and Dom had already left and Noah is gonna give ride to Dom. It had been a long day and we all had so much fun. Ryan had already fallen asleep and I can see Amber trying to keep her eyes open. Well it’s safe to say that we all fell asleep as soon as we laid on the bed.
