Alex’s POV

I don’t know how Amber deals with this jerk but I am gonna show him he messed with the wrong girl. I looked at Jake with a death glare and stalked towards him. He gulped visibly but tried to remain unaffected. I grabbed his collor and slammed him into his car harshly. “Listen here you asshole, I don’t know who the fuck gave you the right to talk to Amber the way you just did, but if you so much as talk like that to her ever again, mark my words you won’t be able to talk. Ever. Fucking. Again.” I said with the last three words slamming him on the car door. “Do I make myself clear?” I said with a psychopathic smile. If he wasn’t scared before he was definitely now. He frantically nodded his head. “Good” I said sweetly.

“Now be the sweet boy and follow me to diner ok.” With that I went to my bike and I saw him scramble to his car. Fucking coward. I zoomed out of there. That’s enough, change of plans. I’m exposing him at the diner. No one talks to my sister like that. No fucking one. Soon we reached the diner and I saw Dom, Noah and Amber sitting in a booth. Noah was beside Amber. I sat beside Dom and Jake sat beside Amber. I noticed everyone was tense but I ignored it. The waitress came and took our orders. I noticed Jake checking her out. I looked at Amber but she wasn’t paying attention.

We had our food come and we’re making light conversation. It was 20 mins later when I felt a nudge on the shoulder. I looked at Dominic and saw him looking at Jake. I turned to Jake and sure enough he was making googly eyes to that waitress. I narrowed my eyes and spoke. “Hi Jake.” Jake looked at me with tensed shoulder. “I heard in the gym that you and… What was her name. Oh yeah Cassandra are planning to go to club tonight. Right?” I asked innocently. Amber looked at me. But I didn’t look at her. “No we aren’t. I don’t even know who Cassandra is.” Noah and Dominic are looking at us intensely. “Oh really. You don’t have to lie. I know you are cheating on Amber.” I said as a matter of fact. Amber looked at me with disbelief.

“What bullshit are you talking about? I’m not cheating on Amber.” He turned to Amber and said, “you believe me right babe. I am not cheating on you. This bitch has been on my case from the very beginning. She is making things up.” Jake said defensively while Amber was looking at us with shock. “If you are so innocent, you wouldn’t mind if I check your phone right?” I said sweetly. Amber looked at me and finally said, “That’s enough Alex. You have no proof so stop accusing my boyfriend of cheating.” I looked at her dead in the eyes. I knew she won’t believe me so I’m not even hurt that she took his side.

Dom and Noah looked at Amber in disbelief and shock. They knew I was right. “If you are so sure that he is not cheating then what’s the problem showing me his phone. It’s not like you are checking it so your trust is still there.” Which is gonna break soon, I added internally. “Why the hell should I give you my phone. You have no damn right to do so.” Jake snapped. Ugg I hate his voice. “Amber is my bestfriend and sister. So I have every damn right to look after her whether it be a fucking shootout or a lousy, good for nothing boyfriend. Now give me the damn phone or I’ll break you hand and take it.” I said with so much venom I saw Noah and Dom shiver.

Reluctantly he handed me the phone. “Password.” I asked. He said it and I opened the phone. I looked at Jake and saw that he was nervous. “You have last chance Jake confess.” I said calmly. Jake looked at me and shook his head. I rolled my eyes and opened messages. There were lots of message from different girls. He was flirting with all of them. He even asked for nudes to some. I don’t wanna look. With a blank face I looked to Amber. She looked mad at me but she will soon understand. I handed her the phone and she looked at the screen. Her mouth dropped open. Soon it was replaced by rage. I smirked. She threw the phone at Jake which he caught. Taking him by the collor he dragged him out the diner. I sat back and smiled in content. Finally.

“Shouldn’t we go out and check if Amber is ok?” Noah asked with a concerned tone. Such a sweet boy. I waved my hand telling him to go ahead. He wasted no time and was out of the diner. Dom kept looking at me. I turned my eyes to him and we stared at each other for a few seconds longer. His gaze was like it was looking for something, anything. We were sitting close so close. I could smell his cologne making my mind blank. “You knew she wasn’t going to believe you, didn’t you?” Dom whispered.

I smiled at his question and nodded. “You are a good friend.” Dom said putting his hand on mine and giving it a warm squeeze. I nodded in appreciation and said, “Let’s me pay and then we will go outside.” I said. “No let me. I can’t let a lady pay. What kind of a gentleman does that.” Dom smirked. I laughed out and saw that Jake’s wallet was on the seat. I nudged Dom and pointed to the wallet. Dom chuckled and took his wallet. “Or Jake can pay.” Dom said taking out the money as mentioned in the bill and living a big tip.

We went out and saw Jake on the ground holding his crouch with a black eyes and a split lips. I looked at Amber who breathing hard and Noah who was trying to calm her down. I smirked and took Jake’s wallet from Dom’s hand walking towards Jake. “Here loser, thanks for the treat.” I threw the wallet at his face and walked towards my friends.
