Soon we reached near this gorgeous lake with amazing scenery. It was nearly sunset and the skies were so pretty. I felt his eyes on me and I shyly looked at him. He is handsome. He tucked my hair behind my ear and then leaned in. I followed suit and our lips were almost gonna touch when I heard this annoying voice. Ugh of course it’s my stupid alarm. Why God why I was going to kiss Dylan O’Brien.
Well no point in crying now. I looked at the clock and decided to get ready for school. This is what I have wore.

After taking my bag and making sure I had my phone and wallet I made my way to the kitchen. My house is not as big as Alex’s but it’s decent. Anyways I reached the kitchen and grabbed an apple before walking out the door not bothering to check on my mom who was passed out on the couch.
Quickly climbing into my car, I got out of there towards Alex’s house. I can’t wait to get out of that house. I love my mom. I really do but it’s not easy when you don’t receive the same. I am grateful for Alex to stay by my side whenever I was down. Anyways I’m not gonna bore you with this sentimental stuff.
I reached Alex’s house and like always continuously horned to call her out. It’s funny to see her irritated. Alex and Ryan both came with Ryan giggling and Alex with playful scowl. I had a car seat for Ryan installed in my car since we often had to switch the seat and this was way easier.
“Hii Amy.” Ryan’s cute squeaky voice was heard as Alex helped him in the seat. “Hello my lil bro. How have you been?” I asked while looking at him with a smile. Ryan answered positive and told me all the things he did in the morning. I looked at Alex and saw her smiling as Ryan was talking.
We reached school around 15 minutes later and saw the guys standing near Noah’s car. As soon as I parked the car as always there were people staring but no one approached us. I helped Ryan out and we moved towards the guys. I could feel his eyes on me and my heart suddenly started beating a bit fast but I maintained a cool expression. I looked at him in his beautiful eyes as he was already looking at me. It was hypnotising.
I had a huge crush on Noah when I had started highschool. His goofy personality and his charming smile is what drew me but what caught my attention was definitely his eyes. Soon we reached the guys and started moving towards Ryan’s school building.
Dom and Alex were in the front with Ryan chatting Dom’s ears off. That kid sure could talk. I glanced at Noah from corner of my eyes and saw him turn his head quickly away with pink cheeks. I suppressed my giggles. So cute. We said bye to Ryan and made our ways to our school building. I kept glancing at Noah and kept noticing him fidgeting nervously. After watching it a few more times I asked, “Hi Noah, is everything alright? You seem anxious.” I stated.
Noah looked at me as if deer in headlights. Dom and Alex had already went to his locker and I saw Alex giving me suggestive wink not so subtly. He chuckled nervously and rubbed his neck while replying, “Uhm… Nothing. Why will I be anxious? It everything alright.” Lie. “I remembered something I have to do. I’ll see you later ok.” With that he went away.
Well that was weird. I hope everything’s ok. Maybe Dom would know I will ask later. Later that day, I did ask Dom and his vague answer was ‘you’ll know’ like what. Noah kept stumbling and fidgeting whenever he was talking to me or trying to run away from me. Did I do something wrong or did I say something that I shouldn’t have?
It was now lunch and we were as usual sitting on our table. We were all just laughing and talking. All but one person. I think Alex also noticed as he kept glancing at him and then looking at me questionably. Noah kept fidgeting and looking nervous throughout the break. When I had enough I whispered to him, “Are you sure you are ok, Noah? You have been quite this whole time. Is it something I did?” My insecurities and me overthinking was not helping here.
Noah looked at me with soft eyes when he heard me and shook his head in negative. “No. Don’t worry about it. You did nothing wrong. It’s just uh… I umm. “ Noah struggled but I waited for him patiently. I looked up when I heard chairs scraping and saw Alex and Dom standing. I looked at them when Alex said, “I need to go to library. Will meet you in the class.” I smiled and nodded my head and then turned my attention back to Noah. I saw Noah and Dom giving each other look like they were communicating. Boys are just weird.
“So you were saying?” I asked encouraging him to continue. I waited a few seconds and then, “Go out with me.” He just blurted out. I looked at him kind of shocked. Noah was asking me out. My crush Noah. Was asking ME out. Oh my God some one please pinch me. Wait I have to ask. “Go out. As in go on a date? Are you asking me on a date?” I still can’t believe it.
Noah looked at me nervously but nodded his head. Oh my god yes my crush for I don’t know how long is asking me out on the date. Yes yes yes. I looked at him and answered “Yes I would love to go on a date with you.” Noah looked at me with the biggest smile ever. “oh thank God, you have no clue how scary it was.”
Soon the bell rang and Noah asked if the day after tomorrow was okay and it definitely was. Ah I can’t wait to tell Alex about this.
