The truth is, if you left me I'd be perfectly fine.
I'd handle it with pride while I'd cry on the inside.
But if you left me today I would have nothing to say, for I no longer waste my words on things who don't want to stay.
If you left me today and never looked back I'd move on by tomorrow and get myself back.
But there wouldn't be another person, not because you're the one.
But because I refuse to let this pattern go on.
I've been left time and time again, the cycle repeats and if there's one thing you should know about me it's that I don't admit defeat.
So if you choose to leave me, that's right, that's your choice, that's completely fine but remember, I have a voice.
