~Apologies~

I've made many mistakes in this life,

And I'll make many more in the next.

I owe apologies to so many people,

The one the most deserving so little.

The little girl who wanted to be so strong,

To shove her so deep down- I was wrong.

She deserved to be recognized for her greatness,

But with the weight of my mistakes she won't make it.

Her ideas will be squashed and she'll give up all hope,

She'll do something practical to fill the holes.
