You don't want to be me, though you say you do.
You think my life is perfect, if only you knew.
Knew the immense pressure I put myself under,
For if I preform poorly I suffer.
Not because my parents are disappointed,
But because I've failed myself, a leader I've appointed.
My goal in life is to impress,
But lately all I've done is look depressed.
Even I'm tired of my constant struggle,
So how can others think I'm above them?
My life is not perfect and neither am I,
It's time you take of off of this high,
This pedestal you have put me on,
Has done nothing for me, I self sabotage.
all I do is compare myself to others and their success.
