There are 217,000 words in the English language.
There are 148 synonyms and antonyms for anxiety.
Yet there is not one sentence I can form in my native language to explain to you,
The hurt,
The pressure,
The exhaustion,
The feeling of being too dramatic as the walls are closing in.
The feeling of hearing my head pounding in the back of my eyelids.
The feeling of my teeth clattering and my hands shaking,
Of a silent classroom and a test on paper being what breaks me,
Of being able to perform in front of a thousand people,
But not being able to explain my feelings in words that seem stable.
There are 217,000 words I could use,
But not a single one of them explains to me the feelings from which I've been abused.
I'm sure there's more than that now
someone's had to have made up new words
we stand w Palestine, there are 217,000 words in English and over 12 million words in Arabic, yet none of them justify the horrors these poor babies are facing
