I've never impressed them, my parents.

They like my work sure,

But I don't impress them.

Nothing I do warrants an "Oh my God."

Nothing I say warrants an "I'm so proud."

Nothing I do is impressive to them,

However, it's expected nonetheless.

this one goes hand in hand with oldest daughter

we stand with Palestine
