If being a yapper was a job

I'd be rich

"I've always been a talker"

Said my report cards and teachers.

"I've always been too much of a talker"

Said kids above and below my grade.

"I always say too much" they say.

I never say the right thing, I know.

But now I barely talk and when I do it's nothing important,

Because I talked too much, too fast.

I missed the mark by a long shot and just kept going.

So when you ask me to speak and I ramble on and on,

Know it's from years of being unheard,

And not saying enough.

we stand with Palestine, who's voices have been suppressed for years now
