I get good grades.

I do well in school.

I work hard at my job.

I behave and act cool.

My parents expect it,

Though they say they don't.

I can't mess up,

There's just no room, so I won't.

I had a hard year,

And I lost my will to move on.

But I had to work through it,

Because I wasn't something they'd be proud of.
