Chapter eight

I waited for Mizu to be finished.
I just heard some yelps and painful screams, wich I tried to tune out, until I felt someone grab my hair and pull me up.

I made a painful yelp and looked up and saw a tall man around Mizu's age.

He pulled me into the room and threw me in front of Mizu. 

"Who dares challenge the Shindo Dojo?" He asked.

"I'm afraid no one in this dojo has offered much of a ch..." 
He was interrupted by getting kicked in the stomach by the man.

"You're from Kohama Village."

"Do I know you?"

Wait he seems familiar.

"You've climbed some heights to be the prize of a miserable lot."

" Taigen has won 24 duels."

Taigen?

"How many have you won?"

"Should I have been counting?"

"Kill the son of a b¡tch, Taigen. Teach him to respect Shindo."

"I've come to speak with your master and will go on my way once I have."

"You won't go anywhere except in the funeral cart."

I quickly sat up and backed up until my back hit the wall.

"With a naked blade, you'd be dead."

"You had a name for me."

Indeed he did, for both of us.

"Taigen. You cannot allow that to dishonour us or you. Kill him!"

They fought outside and I just closed my eyes shut and pressed my hands on my ears. I hated it. I saw Mizu got a bad cut. I'll stich it up later.

It was interrupted when the master off the dojo walked out.

"You are the master of this school? Hmm. Your students need better training."

"You have a message for me."

"A question. Where may I find your brother, the black market merchant Heiji Shindo?"

"You did all this to find my brother? Why?
Heiji Shindo is in the fortress on Tanabe Island, protected by the Genken Clan. Whatever business you have with him, you will never reach him."

"Your still a dog." Said Taigen.

Swiftly Mizu cut of his hair giving Taigen a bald spot.

Served him right.
