I want to smack my head right now because of what I'm doing. I told myself and them that I wouldn't go home, but now here I am, wearing a disguise, while getting inside the bar where her birthday was being celebrated.

Nobody knows I went home. I didn't come to the mansion and just booked myself a room in this hotel.

The bouncer is about to stop me when I remove my shades and he recognises my face. I gesture for him to shut up before I walk past him.

The bar was filled with celebrities and some unfamiliar faces. They were gathering in front of the drinks while the others were busy talking and catching up.

The lights were blinking, and there was loud music playing in the background. I look for a perfect place to hide on the second floor and grab a drink.

Good thing that my effort didn't go to waste; even if we're not totally on good terms, she still didn't change anything.

A loud cheer caught my attention. The sound of the mic made an echo throughout the place as the DJ announced the newcomers.

"Let us all welcome the very stunning birthday girl, Miss Cassiopiea, together with the famous Spencer cousins!!"

The crowd cheered and clapped their hands. On the other hand, I took a peek and saw them gracing the red carpet like they owned it.

My heart stopped for a moment when I saw my wife's smiling face. She's responding to her fellow celebrity, who's greeting her.

Her hair was down and curled, and she's wearing this elegant sleeveless off-white short dress that has a low back. The dress hugged her body well and defined her curves in the right places, especially on her backside.

She's so pretty.

My eyes drifted to the Spencers, and they're really a bunch of fashion icons, even if they're not really in the showbiz industry.

"My saviour is here," - I whispered, staring at the tall blonde woman who's wearing her signature poker face, but even if she's not smiling, she's still gorgeous. But I have to keep in mind that she's married.

Actually, all of them were married! Their partners were lucky. I heard Spencers were a walking green flag; no wonder Cass fell in love with one. Bonus: their eyes were blue, which really added to their charm.

"Thank you all for coming to celebrate my birthday with me tonight. I think everyone on the lists made it here," - she said on the mic, scanning her eyes around as if she's looking for someone but failing to lay eyes on it.

Is she waiting for me?

"I have so many happenings in life lately; I'm so busy that I thought I wouldn't be able to hold a party because my energy is low. The only thing not disappearing in me is my beauty, don't you guys agree?" - she giggled, and it made my heart leap while the crowd laughed with her. Again, her eyes look around, and when she's about to look at the second floor, I quickly pull back the curtain close to my spot.

"I want to thank those who came here tonight: my friends in the industry, in college, my own team, and Direk Johan is here as well." - she beamed and nodded her head to them. "And of course, to the people who prepared these for me, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much."

Is it just me? Or her voice at the end sounds so soft.

"I will end my simple speech here because I don't want to prolong the celebration. Hope you guys enjoy the night!"

Tonight's celebration is for other people only. We will celebrate with her family at the gathering I planned before I left for a business trip.

The music boomed again. I drink the bottle of liquor I'm holding while thinking about her.
