"And the winner of the race is Lando Norris," the commentator shouted over the radio.
I clapped quietly as I sat in Lewis' garage waiting for my brother.
The winner's ceremony followed shortly afterwards. I stood at the bottom among the screaming crowd. His name rings in my ears through the speaker and I look up. His eyes meet mine. But something was different. His arrogant smile was missing. He didn't even give a cheer. Emotionless, he accepted his trophy, looked at it and again his beautiful eyes met mine. My feeling was anything but good. So I left the ceremony and found my way back to Lewis' garage.
"Are you leaving already?" my brother asked me as he saw me packing up my things, which were scattered around the garage.
'Sorry Lewis,' I say with a slight smile.
"You've been so weird lately and so has Lan...what's wrong?" my brother asks worriedly.
''It's all right, Lewis. I promise,' I say.
A gentle kiss followed on the soft skin of his cheek.
'I'm proud of you, brother. You more than deserve 2nd place,'' I said softly.
'Lew...' his voice rang out.
A now rare voice.
My eyes met his. His cap turned backwards and his orange sweater. His figure looked at me again. But the look in his eyes was gone. Without staying in the same room for another second, I move away. Lando feels the breeze I caused earlier.
-----------------
"Amalia..." his soft voice sounds as I sit comfortably on a bench in the park.
Two pairs of eyes turn around.
''I've called you so many times and so have the others,'' he says coldly again and sits down next to me.
'Forgive me... I didn't notice,' I say quietly.
'You don't need to apologize,' he says quietly.
My eyes meet his side profile.
'Congratulations on the win today...why are you here? You should be celebrating, norris...'' my voice rang out after some silence.
'I'm not in the mood...' he said coldly, without taking his eyes off him.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked kindly.
"What do you care?" he asked coldly, now looking at me too.
''I care...I care about you, lando...'' I argue seriously.
"Since when?" he asked emotionlessly.
''Why are you like this? Where did that look in your eyes go?'' I ask, gently reaching for his face.
Once again, a connection is made between our eyes.
'Amalia, please,' he says, almost begging.
''Am I that bad?'' I ask.
*silence*
His hands grab mine and remove my palms from his gentle face.
'It's okay, I'll leave you alone,' I say.
After grabbing my bag, I make my way back to the house. Following you, Lando walks behind me, just staring at the ground the whole way.

*2 weeks later*
"Lewis?" I ask him in the morning as I walk down the stairs.
Lewis and Lando are sitting in the kitchen, deep in conversation. Maria had to go back to Paris after the race in Brazil.
"Yes, sis?" he asks.
Male eyes take in my figure.
''Well... I met this guy...'' I start to tell him.
You could read Lando's facial expressions, which were definitely not positive.
"So?" Lewis' voice sounded skeptical.
"Can I invite him to my place today? Or do you have a problem with that?" I asked him.
'You're only 17...it can wait,' Lando interjected coldly.
'Did I talk to you, Norris?' I ask, annoyed.
'And then you cry again when he doesn't want you and is only horny for your body...' Lando says meanly.
'Are you talking about yourself? You pick up a new one every day and want to tell me about values...' I shoot back with words.
"Watch your mouth, madam!" Lando said angrily with red eyes.
Lewis took the floor.
"How old is this guy?" Lewis added.
'He's 24,' I say.
' Lewis answered the question.
'It's nice that everyone can be happy except me,' I say disappointedly.
'It's only for your own good, sister,' Lewis tried to save himself.
My gaze drops downwards.
'You can keep playing your pick-me show upstairs,' Lando said nastily.
-----------------
In the evening, I entered the apartment with an escort, as I'd just found out that Lewis wouldn't be there tonight. There were two men in the living room. One was a friend, but I didn't know him personally. Lando turned to me. His eyes were not enthusiastic about my company.
'Are you fucking serious? Lewis told you not to,' Lando grabs me angrily by the arms.
'I don't see Lewis anywhere around here,' I say unkindly.
Separated from Lando, I walk hand in hand with my companion up the stairs to my room. We made ourselves comfortable there. Slowly, my companion began to seek me out, which I didn't mind at first. But suddenly I felt the strong grip around my neck, which violently pushed me towards his pants.
'Stop it,' I said in a panic.
'You whore...' said my companion unkindly.
Finally, my face was on his pants and he ordered me to open them.
'Amalia, get away from him,' Lando said sternly as he opened the door.
I jumped up and ran past Lando out of my own room.
Wait in my room,' Lando ordered me.
In his room, I sat down on his bed. My body was flushed with trembling. Mascara smeared on my face.
*door opens*
Lando wipes away the blood dripping from his nose. His gaze is fixed on me. Anxious eyes look at him.
"I'm sorry," I say in a trembling voice.
Without a word, he opens his closet and hands me a sweater.
