Athena woke up the next morning with the sun shining in her eyes from the little window in the tent. She opened her eyes and looked around, she looked towards her father's cot but didn't found him there.
Instead on the little table that stood in between the two cots she found a beautiful flower.
It was Cherokee rose.
She smiled as she touched the pedals, they were soft and so beautiful. She stood up and changed into some comfortable clothes, she took her weapons and put them on her belt and walked out the tent. Outside she saw Carol doing laundry with Lori.
"Morning Thena." Carol greeted the young Dixon.
"Morning Carol. Morning Lori." She greeted the woman back with a smile.
"Hey sweetie." Lori said with a big smile hanging up a shirt.
Athena looked in front of her to see Daryl walking over her with a smile. "Hey dad." She greeted him with a small smile.
"Sleep well baby?" He asked her as he kissed her on the forehead.
"Yeah, I saw the rose on the table. It was beautiful." She told him with a big smile on her face.
"Found it and thought of you." Daryl told her with a small smile "Look I'm going out to look for the little girl, I'll see you later okay?"
"Yeah, please be careful out there." She begged him while giving him a hug.
"I will, love you Athena." He told her.
"I love you too dad." She replied with a smile and she watched a her father walk away.
"Yo! Athena!" The Dixon girl turned around and looked towards pissed off Changbin who was marching towards her.
"Hey, Binni." She greeted her best friend as he walked closer "Everything okay? Why so pissed off?"
Changbin gritted his teeth in rage as he stood in front of the girl "Ji told me." Her eyes widen at that and she took a step closer to him "We need to talk. Righ now."
