The next day Rick had decided to take out Carol, Daryl, Xander and Rhea outside of the walls.

They approached a cream-colored home, with rubble of trash next to it. Daryl wandered back next to them, kicking up some dirt "I don't see it, but it's close. There's just one of 'em."

"We won't be here long." Rick assured "So what do you think?"

"Is it empty?" Xander asked his father.

Carol jerked her chin at him "We'll go in when it is."

"How is that? It's locked up at night." Rick informed.

Carol shook her head "The window. There's just a latch. I can leave it open."

Rick seemed confused "A latch?"

"Yeah."

"What if one of those pricks shuts it?" Daryl decided to think ahead.

Rhea hummed "In that case, We just repeat. Carol can leave it open again."

Snarling of walkers caused them to drop their attention momentarily. Daryl peeked around the corner of the little shack, checking It out "It's getting closer."

"We need to do it sooner than later." Rick decided "Right now, they're not watching us. Not worrying about meetings like this. We may need the guns, we may not."

Carol shot him a look "We will whatever way it goes."

"They're the luckiest damn people I ever met." Xander pointed out "They just keep getting luckier."

"How's that?" Daryl asked the boy.

"We're here now." Xander shrugged and Rick nodded his head at his son.

"They've got a couple of footlockers just full of nine-millimeter autos, rugers, kel-tecs. Just tossed in there. They don't use them. They're never gonna know they're gone." Carol told them.

"Someone's got one now, right?" Rhea gestured to the pile of trash.

"Possibly." Xander told her.

"Listen the others, we want them to try." Rick reminded.

Carol gave Daryl a knowing look "You too."

"So we keep it quiet. Just us." Rick suggested, nodding his head towards the walker they'd heard before "Here it comes."

"I got him." Daryl claimed raising his crossbow.

Carol stopped him aiming her silenced pistol at the roamer shooting it several times in the chest area and then lastly the head. "We said we were taking me out shooting. I couldn't go back with a full mag."

"Lucky he came by." Rhea told her.

Rick raised his brows "We should get back." The group nodded "You'll pull the latch, we'll pick our moment. Us we don't need to be lucky."
