The gates had opened. Aaron helped Eric up to the front of the gates.
Xander looked over at Carl's questioned face and looking towards an abandoned house and he turned to where he was looking but saw nothing.
"Hey, you okay little brother?" Xander asked, putting a hand on Carl's shoulder.
Carl looked back at him and then at the house and nodded "Yeah, I'm good."
They had began to walk closer to the gates as they opened. When they opened the gates, something moved near a trash can and everybody aimed their guns to what was moving and Daryl ended up catching himself a possum.
A man stayed at the gate, watching everybody closely.
"We brought dinner." Daryl said, holding the possum by its tail.
Aaron looked at the man "It's okay. Come on in, guys."
Rhea looked at her father and followed right in through the gates. It was like a normal neighborhood from the looks of it. Houses everywhere, some untouched and it seemed like it was normal. The gates started closing behind them slowly.
"Before we take this any further, need you all to turn over your weapons. Stay, you hand them over." The man told the group.
No way she was giving her bow and guns, they were from her father and she never gave them to anybody.
Not even Xander nor Carl had touched them.
"We don't know if we want to stay." Rick said, making him way up to the front of the group.
Aaron looked at the man "It's fine, Nicholas." He assured the man.
"If we were gonna use them, we would have started already." Rick told.
Aaron spoke to the man, Nicholas "Let them talk to Deanna first."
"Who's Deanna?" Abraham asked, rather loudly.
"She knows everything you'd want to know about this place." Aaron exclaimed to them.
"So, the leader." Rhea assumed.
Aaron looked at the Dixon girl and nodded "Rick, why don't you start?"
From far away, everyone could hear the walker coming to the gates.
Rick turned around "Sasha." He said.
Sasha turned around aiming her gun at the walker and she shot it, killing it instantly.
"It's a good thing we're here." Rick said and began to walk everyone following behind.
