There wasn't much talking on the way back to Alexandria. Leo was pissed off, at everything that had happened to Connie, to Magna... to his wife. He was pissed at Alpha, pissed at all the Whisperers, pissed at Carol.
He hated her right now so much, he knew Carol since the begging of all this, he tried to help her with Ed, looked after Sophia, helped her with so much.
She knew how much he loved Athena, she was there when they finally got together, and in the end she was the one who barried his love in a mine.
He would never forgive her for that.

It took a while to get back, they travelled until nightfall again and got back at first light.
"I'll go find Gabriel and tell him what's happened, you go home, sort yourself out. Okay? You have to tell Cor what happened." Aaron told the broken man and he slowly nodded.
Leo knew he had a tough conversation coming up, and he wasn't looking for it, but he had no choice. "Don't worry about me. Do what you gotta do." Leo replied and watched him nod, then walking away down the paths of Alexandria to find Gabriel.
Leo wandered back over to the house, scraping the stained mud off his hands whilst walking. It was strange for him to walked towards his house, without his wife by his side.
"Dad!" A young voice shouted for him from the other side of the street.
Leo closed his eyes knowing exactly whose voice that was.
His daughter Corina.
He slowly turned around and saw his daughter, Judith, R.J, Angel and Jisung running towards him.
He crouched down and brought his daughter into a hug. Leo definitely needed that hug from his little girl. He had to give her the most awful news that he could ever imagined he was going to say.
After so many years, fighting and surviving this world and what the world was before, after surviving rape, constant beating and miscarriage at the age of fifteen, Athena Dixon died because of the selfish act of a woman he knew since the beginning of the end.
"I've missed you dad." Corina whispered into her father's chest. Leo squeezed her even tighter, not wanting to let her go. When they broke from the hug, Corina looked around "Where's mom?" She asked him with a smile.
"Yeah, Hyung where's Athena?" Jisung asked his older brother.
Leo's eyes watered at those questions, he looked at them with wild eyes. "Why... don't we just go inside and I'll tell you guys." He whispered, his voice broke a bit.
Corina shook her head "No! Tell me now! Where's mom?" she screamed loudly.
