After getting the truck to work once more, the group decided to go back to the church.
There was nothing left back in DC for them, so they went back. Xander sat in the front seat with Rhea, Abraham, Glenn and Maggie.
She had her head on her boyfriend's lap, while he run his fingers through her hair making her fall asleep, while he was looking out of the window.
As they drove, Abraham kept glances over at the young couple. He knew he had to apologize for what he did. Pushing Rhea to the ground, knocking a water bottle out of her hands, mostly he was gonna apologize for his behavior, towards the girl, but she was asleep and he didn't wanted to wake the girl up, so he decided to talk to Xander at least.
"Why you keep looking at us?" Xander asked the ex-marine.
"What are you talking about?" He asked him.
"You've been looking at us, for the last ten point two miles. If you wanna say something, Abraham just say it." The boy told him.
Abraham sighed and looked at the young man "Alright, I wanted to apologize to Rhea... for how I acted towards her, but since she is asleep..."
"Don't worry about it man she already forgive you for that." Xander told him with a smirk.
Abraham smirked at him and looked again at the sleeping girl and he chuckled "I gotta say for a small girl like her, she is really brave, she have balls."
"Ohhhh, you have no idea man." Xander chuckled and he shook his head "At the beginning, when we first met, she put my dad's ex-best friend on his place a few times, she even shot at him once and he was as big as you." He told him with a smile.
Abraham chuckled as he continued to drive "Big balls man."
A few hours later, Rhea had woken up and they finally gotten through the back way through the church and then towards the front where they had knocked down the giant spikes that surrounded the church.
Xander and Rhea jumped out of the truck and the first person they saw was Carl.
Xander smiled at his little brother, as he walked towards him and pulled him into a hug.
"Hey little brother." He greeted him, before they pulled away from the hug so that Rhea could hug the boy.
"You're back!" Carl muffles into her shoulder.
"Yeah, we are." Rhea chuckles.
"You're back." Michonne said, looking to Glenn.
Glenn's face was still and he was ready to admit the truth about Eugene lying. "Eugene lied." He said "He can't stop it. Washington isn't the end."
Michonne's face was filled with disappointment.
Rhea looked around and noticed that some of the others weren't there "Where is everybody?" She asked.
This had reminded Michonne and she went towards Maggie, grabbing her hands.
"Beth's alive," She informed, making Rhea's eyes widen "She's in a hospital in Atlanta. Some people have her, but the others went to get her back."
Maggie's face was filled with shock. Her sister was alive. She looked like she was about to cry some happy tears. "Do we know which one?" She asked, her voice cracking a bit.
Michonne nodded "Grady Memorial."
Maggie smiled and pulled Glenn into a hug.
Rhea smiled at Maggie and Tara spoke for the group. "Let's blow this joint, go save your sister."
It was a long drive, but they were finally there.
Rhea had been in the back seat this time, with Xander and Carl, the girl was holding onto Judith the whole time, as the couple explained how Eugene knocked all the walkers down with the hose of the fire truck.
Once they had gone to the entrance, Rick was the first to come out and he shook his head and he looked upset.
Sasha, Carol and Tyreese were the next to come back. And then, finally, there was Daryl, holding onto Beth's dead body.
Maggie broke down in tears and loud sobs, landing on the ground.
Rhea's eyes widened and she let out a gasp.
She expected Beth to be alive.
What the hell happened? Her father was crying, holding onto Beth.
Rhea's eyes filled up with tears and she grabbed onto her boyfriend, holding onto him for dear life.
