The only thing that could be heard, were the insects chirping and the cries of Carol growing louder and louder.
No one said a word, not even Shane, who had a lot to say earlier.
Rick still had his pistol aimed at Sophia's head despite her now being a dead corpse. Finally after some time, he pointed the gun away and turned to Shane making eye contact.
"Don't look. Don't look."
Everyone turned to Daryl who pick up Carol, but she pushed him and ran away in tears. Daryl looked annoyed that she did that.
The second cry was coming from Beth Greene. She was crying in her boyfriend's arms while she stared to the mess the group made, but most importantly her family. She broke out of Jimmy's arms and walks to her walker mother.
"Shh. Shh. Shh. Wait. Wait." Rick said, but she kept going ignoring the warning from Rick.
Once closer to the walker, Beth slowed down and bend down to her mom sobbing. "Ma." She whimpered, as she fliped over her mother.
But the walker grabbed onto Beth causing everyone to run over hearing her terrified screams.
"Pull her away! Pull her away!" Rick yelled, while they all pulled the sobbing Beth away.
T-dog stomped on it a bit, but it was Andrea that put the axe in the head.
The Greene family started making their way back to the house, with Shane following them. When Xander, Rick and Rhea saw that they followed slowly after them.
"We've been out. We've been combing these woods looking for her and she was in there all along?" Shane questioned, giving Hershel a death glare "You knew."
"Leave us alone!" Maggie yelled.
"You knew and you kept it from us." Shane accused as he poined towards towards the older man.
"I didn't know." Hershel responded.
"That's bullshit. I think y'all knew." Shane spat angrily.
"We didn't know!" Maggie exclaimed loudly as she turned around and glared at the man.
"Why was she there?" Shane questioned them again.
"Your... Otis put those people in the barn maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed." Hershel tried to explain to them.
"You expect me to believe that? What do I look like? Do I look an idiot?" Shane wondered angrily as he stepped forward towards the old man.
But a whip wrapped around his arm and turned him around and just as he was turned around a fist met his face.
Shane fall down on the ground as he wiped his lip that was bleeding. He turned his glare towards the person, who hit him and his dark eyes met with Xander's furious expression.
