The baby was crying loudly in Athena's arms. She stood frozen next to Changbin and Jisung, while looking down at the baby girl in her arms, knowing what the baby needed was its mother, but sadly moments ago she sacrificed herself.
Daryl stood in front of Rick watching the man mentally go crazy inside his own mind. Rick was swaying back and forth, with a distant look nobody seen before.
"Rick... Rick you with me? Rick?" Daryl called out for their leader, who seemed to be in a state of shock.
"Let me see the baby." Hershel called out as he stumbled towards them.
Athena handed Carl the baby, as they walked towards the old man. Daryl turned around, giving up on Rick and looked to Hershel, while Carl held the baby, Athena, Changbin and Jisung walked right next to him.
"What are we gonna feed it? We got anything a baby can eat?" Daryl asked them.
"'Her' dad. Not 'It'" Athena told her father.
"The good news is she looks healthy, but she needs formula and soon or she won't survive" Hershel informed the group.
"Nope. Not her." Daryl instantly shook his head and placed his crossbow around himself "We ain't losing anybody else. I'm going on a run."
"I'II back you up." Maggie told him.
"I'll go too." Glenn said.
"Okay, think where we're going. Athena." Daryl called out and lightly pulled his daughter away from the others "I know you've been through a lot, you saw Lori as a mom-"
Athena shook her head "Dad, I'm fine I promise. I'll look after Carl and the baby till you guys come back. I made a promise and I'm not breaking it."
"That's my girl." He said as he kissed her forehead. Daryl then looked at the prisoners "You two get the fences. Too many pile up, we got ourselves a problem. Glenn, Maggie, vamonos."
"Rick!" Maggie called out and everyone turned to see, the delirious man grab an axe from the ground and stomp his way to the tombs.
"Get the gate. Come on we're gonna lose the light." Maggie and Daryl left leaving Glenn, Beth, Hershel, Carl, Changbin, Jisung, Axel, Oscar, the baby and Athena.
