When Maggie Rhee, Sasha Williams and Eve Rhee showed up at the gates of Hilltop, Paul was both scared and confused. When the gates roll up and Sasha drives the truck in, Paul was already there, asking what happened.
Paul helped Sasha and Eve get Maggie to the infirmary. Then they help her bury the bodies of Glenn and Abraham.
As they sit on the steps of the infirmary trailer, Sasha begins to explain what happened. She started from the very beginning when Daryl left to go after some Saviors. Athena, Changbin, Michonne, Rosita, and Glenn left on their own suicide mission to stop Daryl from his.
Then Maggie collapsed in her dining room in a fit of pained screaming. As they made their way to Hilltop, they were stopped by a different group of Saviors on every road. It went on like that until they were left with no choice but to travel on foot. Eugene took the RV in attempt to trick the Saviors. But it didn't work like they planned. They were led straight to a clearing.
Eugene was already there with the RV, his face newly bruised from the beating he took. They made them get on their knees. Then they pulled the others from a truck. They were in a lineup. Then Negan came from the RV.
Negan told them he wanted half their stuff, that they worked for him now. Then he told them he was going to kill one of them. Negan played a game to decide who he would pick. In the end, it was the ginger. Abraham Ford.
Then Daryl hit Negan. And Negan killed Maggie's husband, Glenn Rhee. Then when morning came, they told Rick to cut his own son's arm off. He didn't have to. Negan stopped him. But then he took Daryl and Changbin, in order to break Athena and put her in her place.
It took three days for Maggie to finally wake up. When she and Sasha round the corner to visit the two graves, someone was already sitting there. Eve was sitting in between both graves with her chin resting on her knees.
"Eve?" Maggie weakly called out for the girl.
Eve looked towards the women and she instantly stood up "Maggie." She ran towards her and carefully hugged her.
Maggie hugged the teenage girl, before she pulled away from their hug and slowly approached her husband's grave. Maggie slowly crouched beside it.
Sasha pulls two things from her pocket and slowly drops beside Maggie. She holds them out for her. Maggie takes the pocket watch. "It was in Glenn's pocket," Sasha told her. "All Abraham had was a cigar." Then Sasha laughed softly. Eve approached them and croushed down next to Sasha, and she placed her hand on her shoulder.
Maggie presses a kiss to the watch before she sets it on the rocks that mark Glenn's grave.
"It feels like everything is wrong," Sasha told them brokenly.
"Not everything," Maggie responded and looked towards Sasha, giving her a look.
"He told me and Eve that you're gonna be all right. He told us you just have to take it easy for the next few days," Sasha told her.
