After running into a spectacular team last weekend, the Colgate Raiders head to Albany, New York to play for the Governor's Cup against the St. Lawrence Saints to kick off the tournament at Pepsi Arena. Mark Dekanich and Justin Pesony matched zeros in the first period so no score after a period of play at Pepsi Arena. With 7:37 left in the second period, Jordan Hack scored to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. Dekanich and Pesony matched zeros for the remainder of the period so the Skating Saints lead 1-0 heading to the third period. With 17:57 left in the third period, Brian Day scored his fifth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. With 1:55 left in the third period, Tom Riley scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate! Mark Dekanich finished off the Saints and Colgate wins 2-1! Colgate improved to 3-2-0 on the season!
