After another disappointing loss last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Hanover, New Hampshire to play the Dartmouth College Big Green with a little chip on their shoulders collectively. With 11:23 left in the first period, Tyler Burton scored his third goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 1:55 left in the first period, Rob Pritchard scored to tie the game 1-1. Mark Dekanich and Mike Devine matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 13:49 left in the second period, Jesse Winchester scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Raiders. Dekanich and Devine matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Hamiltonians we stand after two periods of play in Hanover. With 13:01 left in the third period, JT Wyman scored to tie the game 2-2. With 7:22 left in the third period, David Sloane scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-2 Raiders. With 1:35 left in the third period, Connor Shields scored to tie the game 3-3. Dekanich and Devine matched zeros for the remainder of regulation and so, we'll play extra Hockey because of a 3-3 tie between Colgate and Dartmouth. The two goalies cancel each other out and we'll skate to a 3-3,overtime tie in this game. Colgate shifted to 3-6-2 on the season and 0-3-2 in ECAC Hockey play.
