After Ethan Cox was named a finalist for an award, the Colgate Raiders head to Ithaca, New York to play their CNY foe, the Cornell Big Red at a ruckus Lynah Rink to kick off an all important weekend of ECAC Hockey play. Mark Dekanich and Ben Scrivens matched zeros in the first period so no score heading to the second period. With 4:21 left in the second period, Joe Devin scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. Dekanich and Scrivens matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-0 Big Red remains our score heading to the third period. With 11:32 left in the third period, Tyler Burton scored his thirteenth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. Dekanich an Scrivens matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so we'll skate to extra hockey because of an 1-1 tie betwixt two bitter rivals. With 3:53 left in overtime, Colin Greening scored to win the game for the Cornell Big Red 2-1. Colgate dropped to 10-11-4 on the season and 4-6-3 in ECAC Hockey play.
