On March 1,2008, it was announced that the Colgate men's hockey team will be playing as the number eight seed in the ECAC Hockey tournament (or playoffs depending on what you want to say). The first round series were determined by the regular season standings and we shall see who Colgate plays in the first round of the ECAC Hockey playoffs. Let's find out who they play right here, right now.
#5 Union VS. #12 Rensselaer at Messa Rink
#6 Quinnipiac VS. #11 Dartmouth in Hamden
#7 Yale VS. #10 Brown at Ingalls Rink
#8 COLGATE VS. #9 St. Lawrence at Starr Rink
So, Colgate will play the St. Lawrence Saints at Starr Rink hoping to go play the Clarkson Golden Knights the following weekend. Colgate will hopefully have a large crowd on hand for the first round series against the Skating Saints. Colgate will look to sweep their way to Potsdam next weekend. Before that quarterfinal puck drops, we must deal with the first round of the postseason and we'll see you then! Go Raiders!!
