After surviving a Skating Saint attack, the Colgate Raiders return to Albany, New York to play the Rensselaer Engineers in the Governor's Cup championship game. With 12:32 left in the first period, Peter Merth scored to make it 1-0 Rensselaer. With 1:42 left in the first period, Andrei Uryadov scored to make it 2-0 Engineers. Mark Dekanich and Jordan Alford matched zeros for the remainder of the period so RPI leads 2-0 heading to the second period. Dekanich and Alford matched zeros in the second period so the Engineers lead 2-0 heading into the second intermission. Jordan Alford finished off the 21 save shutout and Rensselaer wins 2-0. Colgate dropped to 3-3-0 on the season.
