After a disappointing loss last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders return to Starr Rink for the final games of the first half of the season against the Robert Morris Colonials hoping to finish the first half on the right foot. With 12:48 left in the first period, Tyler Burton scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 11:45 left in the first period, Joe DeBello scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-0 Raiders. Mark Dekanich and Jim Patterson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so Colgate leads 2-0 heading to the second period. With 19:21 left in the second period, Brian Day scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 3-0 Hamiltonians. With 9:29 left in the second period, Ryan Cruthers scored to make it 3-1 Colgate. Dekanich and Patterson matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 3-1 Raiders lead heading to the third period. With 17:27 left in the third period, Kevin McNamara scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-1 Hamiltonians. With 4:49 left in the third period, Chris Margott scored to make it 4-2 Colgate. With 13 seconds left in the third period, Ryan Cruthers scored to make it 4-3 Raiders. Mark Dekanich finished off the Colonials and Colgate wins 4-3! Colgate improved to 6-7-2 on the season!
