2007-08 saw Colgate battle night in and night out en route to a potential championship weekend appearance every single year. Colgate was a formidable foe in the late 2000s and looking back, it was some of the best time of my life. The reason for that is because of Starr Rink being packed on a nightly basis back in those glorious days. Colgate men's hockey was glorious in these days because of the resilience of the team night in and night out and we'll explore the reason why Colgate was so resilient in 2007-08 in this story right here.
I will be treating this story like a current season and post content every Friday and Saturday and possibly even Sunday (more on that as the story unfolds) because that's how the season goes evidently. This story, in my opinion, will be a fun way to pass time before the start of next season as I want to keep myself busy between now and then. You all know that I miss Colgate hockey when the team is not playing but I find this a pretty good replacement for Hamiltonian hockey in the offseason. This series will occur in the offseason after each CRTS story comes to an end which we won't be discussing in this story.
I hope you all enjoy a trip down memory lane with the 2007-08 Colgate men's hockey team and hopefully we'll be able to squeeze two seasons into one offseason to be honest. If all goes according to plan, I'll be keeping one of these kind of stories on Wattpad even when the boys are on the ice. At which point, I will adjust the schedule for the uploads to Wednesday and Thursday. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this exploration and of course, go Raiders!!
