After surrendering a four goal third period last night lost them the game, the Colgate Raiders head to Hamden, Connecticut to play another top rated team in the form of Quinnipiac hoping for a signature win. With 12:10 left in the first period, Greg Holt scored to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 10:58 left in the first period, David McIntyre scored his tenth goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. Mark Dekanich and Bud Fisher matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 1-1 remains our score heading to the second period. With 11:56 left in the second period, Brandon Wong scored to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. With 5:10 left in the second period, Brian Day scored his ninth goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. Dekanich and Fisher matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-2 remains your score heading to the second intermission dressing rooms. With 17 minutes left in the third period, Tyler Burton scored his eighteenth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Raiders. With 13:34 left in the third period, Bryan Leitch scored to tie the game 3-3. Dekanich and Fisher matched zeros for the remainder of the period so we will play extra hockey because of a 3-3 tie between Colgate and quinnipiac on this Sunday evening. With 60 seconds left in overtime, Peter Bogdanich scored his sixth goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 4-3! Colgate improved to 14-13-5 on the season and 8-8-4 in ECAC Hockey play!
