After a despicable third period last night, the Colgate Raiders head to New Haven, Connecticut to play the Yale University Bulldogs inside Ingalls Rink this evening. With 12:11 left in the first period, Brian Day scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Raiders. With 8:39 left in the first period, Ben Camper scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-0 Colgate. With 4:39 left in the first period, Sean Backman scored to make it 2-1 Hamiltonians. Mark Dekanich and Billy Blase matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-1 Colgate remains our score heading to the second period. With 19:53 left in the second period, Ryan Donald scored to tie the game 2-2. With 18:48 left in the second period, Mark Arcobello scored to make it 3-2 Yale. With 12:22 left in the second period, Jesse Winchester scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 3-3. With 1:25 left in the second period, Mark Arcobello scored to make it 4-3 Bulldogs. Dekanich and Blasé matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 4-3 Yale remains our score heading to the second intermission. With 10:07 left in the third period, Brian Day scored his seventh goal of the season to tie the game 4-4. With 7:03 left in the third period, Thomas Dignard scored to make it 5-4 Bulldogs. With 2:35 left in the third period, Brendan Mason scored to make it 6-4 Yale. Billy Blasé finished off the Raiders and Yale wins 6-4. Colgate dropped to make it 3-6-1 on the season and 0-3-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
