Jisung was in shock, he coudn't assimilate what was happening. His best friend from the beggining... a boy he looked after for years... a boy he thought as a little brother... was bitten. He was going to die. Tears were spilling down his eyes, while he was looking at him, and Carl was looking at him too.
All Jisung could think in that moment, was the fact that... he failed... he failed Lori after she begged him and Athena to protect her family... and they failed her.
Athena was also in shock, she couldn't believe it. This was suppose to be her. Not him. She failed him... she failed Lori.
"I-I don't.." It seemed that Rick had been trouble processing this like the other teenagers were.
"Dad." Carl tried.
"How..."
"Dad... it's all right. It's gotta be. I wasn't sure if you'd make it back before... but just in case, you know..." He grabbed letters out of his pocket, all folded and he looked at Michonne "I wanted to make sure I was able to say goodbye."
Rick was refusing to believe this "No. It's them. It's them. They... They don't... It wasn't... Carl."
Carl sighed "I got bit. Ji, Athena and I, we were bringing someone back. His name's Siddiq. We saw him at that gas station, before... It wasn't the Saviors. It just happened. I got bit." He explained.
When he said that Athena felt sick again, so she quickly stood up and walked down the sewer, her knees gave up and she fall down, trowing up again. Her whole body was trembling, while tears were falling down her cheeks.
She felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked back and saw her father looking at her with sad eyes.
"D-D-Dad..." She sobbed loudly.
He quickly grabbed her and pulled her into his chest, holding her tightly.
