It had been at least over a month since Gregory's hanging.
Maggie had basically taken control of the Hilltop with Rhea, Jesus and Xander beside her.
The bridge from before was being built up and everyone took their time to help build, including Xander.
He decided to help with the bridge and to stand beside his father.
Rhea told him that she will stay in Hilltop to look after Corina, and after last month, with her head injury, Daryl and Xander didn't wanted her to do too much work, untill she heal properly.
Even though she was okay and healed, and she could told them to go in hell and do whatever she wants, she was now a mother of a nine months old, she had other responsibilitys and she had to be in Hilltop to help Maggie.

The whole time on the bridge, Xander was mostly with Enid and Siddiq. He liked to spend time with them, but also he wanted to know the basics so that if something happens with Corina or Rhea, he could help them.
But also Enid was learning to become a doctor and she was doing a pretty good job at it. She was currently helping out Cyndie's hand since she had cut it.
"You're lucky it's not infected." Siddiq spoke from beside Enid as she was sewing up her hand "Next time, come see us right away."
Cyndia nodded "I know. I just felt stupid. Peeling a potato's a pretty dumb way to end up in the infirmary." She told them with a small smile.
"Yeah, well, it's an even dumber way to get gangrene." Enid smirked.
Just then Rick and Eugene approached them. "How's the star student doing?" Rick asked, mentioning Enid.
"Ready to take on anything." Siddiq informs.
"Good. She's gonna get her chance. I'd like you to head back home. There's a bug going around."
Xander quickly looked up at his father "Is Judy okay?"
"Yeah, yeah she is fine it's just a little bug. Don't worry about it son." Rick said patting his son's shoulder.
