Chapter 54

Jason's POV:

I did the scene, observing Aria. Her cream coat was soft as I reached up to her elbow across the table.

Her mouth was moving but I couldn't tell you the words coming out. I stared deeply she leaned in.

"This is the part where you say your lines." She whispered. I shook my head, snapping back to reality.

"What?" I asked, confused. The director looked at me with a disapproving look. I smiled shyly,

"I guess I was distracted by your beauty," I admitted. I suppose I'm embarrassed by this but how could anyone look at Aria and not think she was the most beautiful creature on the planet?

"Haha. Very funny." She said, leaning back into her chair.

"Cut! We'll have to shoot the scene all over again!" The director yelled in frustration. The cameras stop rolling and the bell rang, signaling the end of the take. "Do the scene correctly this time."

The bell rang again and it was time for another take.

I'm listening. I know my lines. Don't get distracted by her beauty. Is all my brain kept thinking as she talking. Okay she's coming up at the end of her sentence.

Surprisedly, I say my lines without getting distracted by her red lipstick. Her eyes stared at me intently.

*Later*

Once filming was done for the day, we undressed separately and carefully placed the clothes down to where the costume department could find them. Once I am in my regular comfortable clothes, I hang out on set and eat the left over catering from this morning.

"Hey," Aria taps me on the shoulder. I turn around with a handful of cookies stuffed into my mouth. I chew slowly and swallow.

"Hi, you did really good today. Sorry about your head." I grab a napkin and wipe my mouth. She chuckles at this.

"Oh, that was my own fault. I'm so clumsy." She fell forward and pulled me into a hug. "See? So clumsy."

I smiled as she continuously hugged me.
