We wait at the door, and a couple seconds later it opens, revealing a girl with long brown wavy hair, and a smile on her face.

We left the school around 5 in the morning, and we just got here at 6:30.

It's a lovely house on a beautiful street. It looks like your average neighbourhood, but the greenery is absolutely gorgeous.

The homes are large and tall, brick-covered houses with black roofs.

The drive here wasn't so bad. Considering I was asleep the whole time. But I did eat the food that Clay bought me on the way here.

"Clay!" The girl smiled and hugged him, "Oh my god I've missed you!"

They pull away and the girl turns to me, "George? Right? I'm Kennedy."

I smile and nod, "it's nice to meet you," I say as she hugs me.

She pulls away from the hug and smiles, "Okay so— drista, Zach, and Kelsie have no clue you're here. Derek and Callie are inside— come in! I'm just making tea for Mom."

We step inside, placing our bags at the front door and we take off our shoes.

The inside is very homey and smells like fresh flowers.

"Beautiful home," I say.

"Tell that to Mom," Kennedy smiles, "Derek they're here!"

We walk into the house, and entering the living room.

There's a man sitting on the ground with a two-year-old in his lap, whom I'm assuming is Derek and Callie.

There's an older woman sitting in a chair, her hair done in a bun and a nice cardigan on, as she stares intently at the TV.

"Grandma, Clay and his boyfriend are here," Kennedy says before walking into the kitchen.

A woman comes out from the kitchen, with blonde hair and green eyes. Looks exactly like clay.

"Oh, my boy!" She smiles and hugs Clay, "I've missed you!"

"Hi Mom," Clay smiles as she lets go of him and turns to me.

"You must be... George yes?" She asks, "My name is May."

"It's nice to meet you May," I smile as I feel Clay's hand on my lower back, "Thank you for having me."

"Oh don't be silly— I love meeting my son's friends and his new boyfriend," she teases, "Clay go say hi to your grandmother. Don't be rude."

He smiles at her and rolls his eyes, "come," he says as he leads me over to the living room, where we sit on the couch.

"Hi, grandma" Clay says, "it's me, Clay."

She looks over and smiles, "Clay— Clay... oh yes Clay! How was the last day of the seventh grade?"

Clay smiles as he takes my hand and brings it to his lap, "Grandma, this is George, my boyfriend."

She looks over at me and chuckles, "Clay darling aren't you a little too young to have one of those?"

He shakes his head, "Grandma I'm eighteen. I'm in senior year.."

She furrows her eyebrows and shakes her said slowly, "No— no you're— you're young you- I don't remember you-"

"Holly it's alright, it's just Clay and his boyfriend it's okay if you don't remember," Derek says.

"Clay, why don't you bring your guys' stuff upstairs yeah?" Kennedy says and to which we both agree.

We leave the living room, Clay's hand still holding mine.

We grab our stuff, heading up the stairs and down a hallway.
