The return.

Hey, upper east siders, Gossip Girl here. And I have the biggest news ever.  One of my many sources, Melanie91, sends us this:

" spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand, Serena Van der Woodsen."

Was it only a year ago out "it" girl mysteriously disappeared for... quote " boarding school"?
And just suddenly, she's back.

I wonder what Blair and Ella Waldorf think. Sure they're BFFs.... But we always thought Ella's boyfriend, Nate, had a thing for Serena.

The clinking of glasses and the pulse of the music, hit me. Great another party.

I walked out of my room to see hundreds, or even thousands of people in fancy outfits celebrating.

" I have to design a dress for this woman!" I could hear my mom's voice chatting away to her colleagues.

" Ella! How nice of you to join us, if you're going to wear one of my designs, tell me, so we can at least get it properly fitted!" My mom looked over and smiled at her workers.

" thanks mom, I'll keep that in mind." I smiled, " great party!" I walked away.

" she is my best advertisement." That made me smile.

I walked over to my boyfriend, what felt like I haven't seen him in forever, and took him arm.

" excuse me, captain. Nate, can I borrow you?"  I looked at his ocean blue eyes that looked directly into mine.

" sure, will you excuse me a sec?" He asked, but I didn't care what the answer was, and dragged him away.

" Nathaniel, any interest in some fresh air?" Charles, but we call him Chuck, asked and mimed an invisible cigarette to his mouth.

" when I get back."

" if he gets back." I smirked as I dragged him into a private room.

They were rumours that Serena was back in town.... And was at the same party. Same time.

I walked out of my bedroom to see Nate slowly walking over to Serena, until I blocked his view and forced a smile on my face.

" hi! Serena, so good to see you!!" I hugged her, " come we're about to have dinner!"  I walked backwards.

" I'll reserve you a seat at the table next to Blair!" My mom smiled.

" there's somewhere I have to go...!"

" You're leaving." I nodded, knowing she wasn't going to stay for long.

" yeah, I just, I don't feel fell, I just wanted to come say hi!" I looked down at the ground. Lies.
" I'll see you at school tomorrow!" She walked away.

" school. I guess she's back for good." Blair sighed.

The night flew by, and school was round the corner.

Me Blair and the girls were sat in our usual spot, before school started.

" these are so cute!!" I looked at all the invitations that were created by little Humphrey.

" not bad work. And here's yours, as promised!" Blair handed Jenny an invitation.

" hey! Here you guys are!" Me and Blair looked at each other as we heard a familiar voice walk up the steps.

" so! When's the party!" Serena smiled as me and the others stared blankly at her.

" Saturday!" Blair smiled.

" and.. your kinda not invited! Since until 12 hours ago, everyone thought you were at boarding school! At least I didn't make lies on my disappearance."

" now we're full! And Jenny used up all the invites!" Blair added.

"Um, actually!" We already knew what she was gonna say.

" no need, you can go now!" I smiled, dismissing her from the presence.

" sorry!" Blair smiled.

" no, it's okay! I got a lot of stuff to do anyway." She threw the invite back on the step.

" well!" I began to grab my bags, " we should get going then!" I stood up.

" unless you want us to wait for you, looks like you got a lot of yoghurt left." Blair swallowed as she looked at the plain yoghurt held in her hand.

" no! Go ahead." We all out fake smiles on as we walked down the steps, heading to class.

" Ella! Think we could meet tonight?" Serena turned around and asked.

" I'd love to! But I'm doing something with Nate tonight."

" the palace. Eight  o'clock? Nate will wait." I sighed as Blair gave her a dirty look, then we all headed to class. God that was embarrassing.
