There's plenty of upside to being the spawn of the fabulously wealthy.

But the downside? Super successful parents expect nothing less from their offspring.
And when it comes to college, that means the ivies.

It's more than just getting into college.
It's setting a course for the rest of your life.
And for those few who aren't legacies, the pressures are no less.

When parents have sacrificed for their children's futures... what kid would wanna let them down?

It was another school day. We all had an assembly first class, so me and the girls headed up the stairs, but I turned around and smiled at Nate, before heading in again.

The school choir sung their song whilst we all sat down in our seats.

"Good morning students! I ask all of you to show a little sympathy for our junior class. They are almost through with ivy week." One of the teachers smiled.

"As is our long-standing tradition.. the Constance Billard girls will be in charge of Friday nights mixer, and the St. Jude's boys will provide ushers for the visiting representatives." The other teacher spoke.

"For those of you who dream of attending an Ivy League school, this mixer is the most important event of your life. But no pressure!" The teachers both chuckled, and the school bell rang, hinting its next class.

"Do you remember when dad gave me my first Yale sweatshirt?" I walked down my staircase, and headed into the living room. " I don't think any piece of clothing has ever fit me more perfectly! Not to mention how adorable I found that bulldog! Remember when I asked you if I could get a bulldog?
Good call, by the way, saying no!"

"Yes, I remember miss Ella." Dorota said as she poured me a cup of tea.

"And now the day is finally here! Soon mate and I will be away at college! Him coming down to Yale! Me going up to Dartmouth! Dad flying in for the Princeton game! I hope it doesn't make you feel old, watching me grow up."

"Eat up, miss Ella!" She placed the tray down next to me, "your mom would want you to have a good breakfast!"

The rest of the night went quick, and by the time you know it, it was PE.

"Look! I made a mistake with Nate. But then you sabotaged me with Dan! We don't have to be friends but!" I tried to tackle her as she said every word, but then she slipped and fell. Haha.

"Sorry! Slipped." I smiled sarcastically.

"I really wanna believe that was an accident." She walked past me.

"Then you must be delusional!"

The rest of the game went quick, I basically pushed Serena to the floor all lesson, oopsies. But then, out of nowhere, she pushed me to the floor. It didn't hurt. But might as-well act like it.

"Ow!! My leg!!" I yelled, wiping off the remaining grass that stuck to my kneecap.

"Serena you're out of here!" The coach yelled.

"Ow!!" I complained again, as the rest of the girls ran over.

"I hope it's broken." She through her stick to the ground and walked off.
